Unified Mass–Energy Dissolution Cosmology (UMEDC): A Staged Framework for Cosmic Energy Transformation and Late-Time Acceleration
Abstract: The ΛCDM model successfully describes the universe’s expansion but remains fundamentally descriptive: it assigns fixed densities to matter, dark matter, and dark energy without providing a unifying physical mechanism behind their coexistence or evolution. In this work, we introduce the Unified Mass–Energy Dissolution Cosmology (UMEDC), a novel framework based on the staged transformation M → DM → DE, where ordinary matter gradually dissolves into a dark-matter-like reservoir, which subsequently transforms …

Gamma- and Electron Beam-Induced Crystalline modification in Poly (Lactic Acid): Effects of Radiation Dose and Dose Rate
Abstract: Poly(lactic acid) (PLA) is an important commercial biodegradable polyester whose properties are dictated by its molecular architecture and semicrystalline nature. The application of ionizing radiation particularly gamma rays and electron beams is extensive for sterilization and materials processing. The effect of ionizing radiation on the crystallinity of PLA is complex however, since irradiation causes concurrently chain scission, radical formation, oxidation, recombination and mobility driven structural reorganization. This work studies the …

Experimental Exploration of Crack and Damage Dynamics of Hybrid FRP Nano Composites
Abstract: Fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites have become essential materials in modern engineering structures because of their excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and adaptability in design. Among different fracture modes, Mode I interlaminar fracture where cracks propagate under tensile opening stresses is one of the most critical forms of damage in layered composites. Since delamination occurs within the matrix-rich regions between plies, improving the matrix properties plays a key role in enhancing …

Educating Compilers to Learn: Utilizing Machine Learning for More Brilliant Code Optimization
Abstract: This study explores the use of machine learning (ML) approaches to compiler optimization. The now-traditional static compilation techniques are transformed into adaptive, dynamic systems capable of making context-specific advancements. Traditional compilers rely mostly on heuristic or rule-based optimization techniques. While these techniques work well in general cases, they consistently fail to adapt well within the limits of code structures that modern machines display. This limitation is especially acute in today's …

Progress in Renal Tumor Surgery: The Role of 3D Surgical Planning in Partial Nephrectomy
Abstract: Renal cell carcinoma is the most common form of kidney cancer, representing 2–3% of global cases, with the highest incidence in Western Europe. For small renal tumors, partial nephrectomy is the preferred treatment, where the tumor is surgically removed. This procedure does not affect oncological outcomes, allowing part of the kidney to remain functional. During tumor removal, the surgeon minimizes excessive bleeding and improves visibility by cutting off the arterial …

MAC Unit Implementation on FPGA
Abstract: Multiply–accumulate (MAC) computations account for a large part of machine learning accelerator operations. The pipelined structure is usually adopted to improve the performance by reducing the length of critical paths. An increase in the number of flip-flops due to pipelining, however, generally results in significant area and power increase. Using this method, we create and build a cutset-free feedforward MAC architecture that maximizes data propagation and removes superfluous pipeline registers. …

Artificial Intelligence–Assisted Reduced-Order Modeling and Stability Control in Granular Couette Flow
Abstract: This study develops a reduced-order and stability-aware modeling framework for dense granular Couette flow by integrating continuum mechanics, bifurcation analysis, and data-driven stability estimation. Starting from coupled governing equations for momentum, granular temperature, and microstructural evolution, the system is nondimensionalized and reduced using a Galerkin projection consistent with shear-driven boundary conditions. This yields a low-dimensional nonlinear dynamical system that preserves the essential coupling between velocity, fluctuation energy, and structural relaxation. …
