Optimization of Type-4 Plastic Liner Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessel Design
Abstract: Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessels (COPVs) are prominently utilized for the storage of gases at high-pressure. Their widespread adoption is because they are significantly lighter weight compared to complete metal counterparts, but requires specialized design, and manufacturing process. This research employs finite element modelling to analyse the stress and failure assessments on a specific Type-IV COPV with plastic liner as core cylinder. This study aims to optimize COPV design by considering …

Characterization of Bamboo-Fiber Reinforced Geopolymer Composites
Abstract: In this project, we plan to produce and assess a new, eco-friendly composite made from geopolymer (from a combination of fly ash and GGBFS), strengthened with chemically treated bamboo fibres for retrofitting earthquake-resistant buildings. Geopolymer is produced by activating a mixture of fly ash and GGBFS with sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide solutions. We have produced and analyzed bamboo fibre-reinforced geopolymer composites as potential materials for seismic retrofitting of structures …

Self Esteem and Sociotropy - Autonomy as predictors of Workplace Burnout among Private Sector Employees
Abstract: Workplace burnout is a growing concern in the private sector, where employees face intense performance pressures, leading to stress and reduced productivity. While job-related factors are well-documented contributors, the role of personality traits in burnout remains an area of interest. This study examines the impact of Self-Esteem, Sociotropy, and Autonomy on Workplace Burnout among private sector employees. A sample of 120 employees was analyzed using ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple …

Comparative Evaluation of GPBB and CK-MB in Early Diagnosis of Acute Myocardial Infarction in Diabetic and Non-Diabetic Patients
Abstract: Background: Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) continues to be a leading cause of morbidity and death among people worldwide. To lower the risk of problems, early and precise diagnosis is essential, particularly for diabetes patients. The study investigates the diagnostic value of Glycogen Phosphorylase BB (GPBB), a potential early biomarker of myocardial necrosis, and compares it with CK-MB, a widely used cardiac marker, in AMI diagnosis. Inflammatory markers (hs-CRP, IL-6, TNF-α) …

Development and Validation of a Robust RP-HPLC Method for Rufinamide Quantification in Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms
Abstract: The creation and validation of a simple, precise, and targeted reverse phase high-performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) approach allowed for the quantification of rufinamide in pharmaceutical dosage forms. With a mobile phase of methanol and water (50:50, v/v), the technique used a gradient mode Symmetry Qualisil gold C18 column (4.6 x 150mm, 5 μm). For the detection method, a flow rate of 1 mL/min was employed at 220 nm. During a …
