Prevention, Control, and Management of Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) in Poultry
Abstract: AbstractInfectious bursal disease (IBD) (Gumboro disease) has been identified worldwide, and the disease’s socio-economic importance is significant around the world. IBD cause by the RNA virus which is selectively affects the bursa of Fabricius and destroying B-lymphocyte leading to immunosuppression and other concurrent infection results in high mortality. As virus is having high mutation rate make it difficult to control disease in poultry farm. Highly contagious nature of IBD virus …

Infant’s Immunity w.s.r. to Compliment System: A General Review
Abstract: Infant’s mortality and morbidity rate in developing countries are at higher incidence due to infections. Various factors are responsible for infections, such as low socio-economic status, poor hospital facilities and malnutrition etc. The low level of compliment components and serum immunoglobulin in infants has been claimed to be the reason of defective opsonic activity in infants as well as defective generation of chemotaxis activity. Thus immune system during neonatal as …

Wound Healing Potential of Medicinal Plants: A Review
Abstract: Wound healing is an integrated cellular and biochemical process of restoring normal structure functions of damaged tissue. Healing is a natural phenomenon by which body itself overcome the damaged to the tissue, but the rate of healing is very slow and chance of microbial infection is high. Improvement in healing process can be accomplished either by shortening the time required for healing or to minimize the undesired consequences. India has …

Assessment of Adherence to Antiretroviral Therapy Among Art Users in Jimma University Specialized Hospital, Jimma Zone, Oromia Region, South West Ethiopia
Abstract: Background: HIV-associated morbidity and mortality gets substantially reduced with antiretroviral therapy (ART). Antiretroviral treatment efficacy exhibits significant inhibition of viral replication as well as viral load resulting in significant decrease in viral particles to a level where it becomes undetectable in the blood of HIV infected individuals. But, antiretroviral therapy (ART) requires high-level (>95%) adherence and adherence to antiretroviral therapy has been correlated strongly with HIV viral suppression, reduced rates …

Understanding the Efficacy of Homoeopathic Remedies in the Treatment of Heloma (Corn)
Abstract: Heloma (Corn), is a horny induration and thickening of the stratum corneum resulting from faulty mechanics, irregular distribution of pressure, bony prominences and repetitive motion injury due to repetitive activities or problems with footwear. Thus, both the extrinsic factor and the intrinsic factor are responsible for the formation of Heloma (Corn) affecting 14-18% of people. As most people consider it as a non-threatening condition, they seek home remedial measures like …

The Role of Rubella Virus Infection among Women with Spontaneous Abortion in Al-Najaf Governorate
Abstract: Rubella virus could cause a spectrum of birth defects known as Congenital Rubella Syndrome (CRS) if the infection occurs within the first or second trimester of pregnancy. Repeated miscarriage is defined as a condition with two or more consecutive abortions before the 20–25 weeks of gestation. Rubella remains to be a severe public health problem in developing countries. Recurrent miscarriage is a multi-factorial disease, which occurs in approximately 1%–2% of …

Toxicological Profiling and Safety Assessment of NASAT 2.0: A Conceptual Framework for Adaptive Nanoparticle Therapy in Rabies
Abstract: Rabies, caused by the highly neurotropic Rabies lyssavirus, remains one of the most enigmatic and universally lethal infectious diseases known to modern medicine. Once clinical symptoms manifest following successful neuroinvasion, the fatality rate approaches absolute certainty (approximately 99.9%), a staggering statistic that has remained largely unchallenged despite massive, concurrent advances in modern virology, critical care medicine, and cellular immunology. Current late-stage therapeutic protocols, most notably the widely debated Milwaukee Protocol, …
