Representation-Theoretic Symmetry Reduction and Fuzzy-Grey Optimization of Modular Vibration Systems
Abstract: This paper presents a representation-theoretic framework for symmetry-aware vibration control in modular structural systems. Exploiting cyclic symmetry, the mass, damping, and stiffness operators are block-diagonalised into irreducible representations, reducing the full structural dynamics to a collection of lower-dimensional modal subsystems. This decomposition provides both computational efficiency and a rigorous mathematical description of symmetry-preserving dynamic behaviour. To account for imperfections arising in practical implementations, near-symmetry defects in stiffness and damping are …

A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of Structured Teaching Program on Knowledge Regarding Breastfeeding Positioning Among Postnatal Mothers in Selected Community Areas in Kanpur
Abstract: Breastfeeding plays a crucial role in promoting infant health by providing complete nutrition, enhancing immunity, and strengthening maternal–infant bonding. Despite its benefits, many postnatal mothers experience challenges, such as nipple pain, breast engorgement, fatigue, and ineffective feeding, often due to improper breastfeeding positioning and poor latching techniques. Limited awareness and lack of structured education further contribute to these difficulties. Educating postnatal mothers on correct breastfeeding positioning is, therefore, essential to …

Recent Routing Protocols in UAV Networks: Classifications, Challenges, and Future Directions
Abstract: Routing protocols enable reliable communication in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) networks, particularly Flying Ad-hoc Networks (FANETs), amid high-speed 3D mobility, dynamic topologies, and energy limits. Key challenges include intermittent links due to mobility, limited energy resources, variable network density, and the need to minimize end-to-end delay while maximizing throughput and fault tolerance. This paper classifies recent UAV routing protocols into topology-based routing protocols, position-based routing protocols, and hierarchical-based routing protocols. …

Design and Implementation of a Bidirectional Long-Range Communication System for Disaster Management Applications
Abstract: In times of natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, landslides and cyclones, the normal communication lines are frequently cut, thus reducing the ability of the affected people and the relief team to communicate vital information. Cellular networks and Internet-based communication systems could be compromised in the event of a loss of power, damage to infrastructure or network congestion. Thus, it is necessary to have a communication system that will be dependable, …

Passive Digital Phenotyping for Longitudinal Burnout and Occupational Mental Health Surveillance: A Transformer-Based Explainable Deep Learning Approach Using Smartphone Behavioral Streams
Abstract: Occupational burnout constitutes a pervasive yet chronically under-surveilled public health threat, its insidious temporal evolution rendering episodic self-report instruments structurally inadequate for early detection. This paper introduces BurnoutSense, a passive digital phenotyping framework that continuously harvests eight heterogeneous smartphone behavioral data streams encompassing application usage ecology, communication metadata, geospatial mobility, screen interaction dynamics, inferred sleep rhythmicity, keystroke kinematics, ambient noise exposure, and battery/charging cadence to construct individualized multivariate behavioral signatures …

Idempotent Semiring Path Algebras and Fuzzy Dominance Automata for Multi-State Communication Reliability
Abstract: A semiring-based theory is proposed for multi-state communication reliability with fuzzy dominance constraints. Links are weighted in the max-product semiring, while nodes carry dominance coefficients and operating states that modulate admissible transitions in a weighted automaton. The paper derives semiring matrix products, Kleene closures, fixed point equations, congestion-regularized path scores, and reliability inequalities. A fuzzy dominance automaton is introduced so that route selection depends not only on link reliability but …

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Hypergraph Laplacians and Dominating Transversals for Resilient Discrete Network Design
Abstract: This manuscript develops a discrete mathematical framework for resilience analysis on networks whose interactions are polyadic, uncertain, and partially conflicting. Classical graphs compress multi-way coordination into pairwise edges, while ordinary fuzzy graphs often ignore the non-membership information that becomes critical in emergency logistics, infrastructure interdependence, and cyberphysical coordination. We therefore formulate an intuitionistic fuzzy hypergraph in which each vertex hyperedge incidence carries membership, non-membership, and hesitation, and we construct a …

Semiring-Weighted Automata and Recursive Path Counting for Multi-State Reliability in Discrete Infrastructures
Abstract: Multi-state infrastructures such as communication backbones, microgrids, warehouse routing systems, and sensor-actuator pipelines evolve through discrete event sequences rather than through a single binary "working/failed" transition. This paper develops a semiring-weighted automata framework for reliability analysis in which state changes, repair actions, and degraded operating modes are represented by weighted transitions on a finite automaton. A path valuation is defined over an additively idempotent reliability semiring and extended to a …

Artificial Intelligence–Assisted Reduced-Order Modeling and Stability Control in Granular Couette Flow
Abstract: This study develops a reduced-order and stability-aware modeling framework for dense granular Couette flow by integrating continuum mechanics, bifurcation analysis, and data-driven stability estimation. Starting from coupled governing equations for momentum, granular temperature, and microstructural evolution, the system is nondimensionalized and reduced using a Galerkin projection consistent with shear-driven boundary conditions. This yields a low-dimensional nonlinear dynamical system that preserves the essential coupling between velocity, fluctuation energy, and structural relaxation. …
