Status of extra-limits migrating avifauna and their stopover in the Gulf of Kachchh, Gujarat
Abstract: Migratory species, often receive special attention, nationally and internationally, for conservation. A large number of migratory birds regularly visit the Indian subcontinent especially during winter season. The Gulf of Kachchh (GoK) is one of the destinations of migratory birds under Central Asian Flyway, and existence of diverse habitats resulted into occurrence of a significant number of migratory species. In the present study, the entire region of the GoK was explored …

A Study on Radiation Effects in Acrylonitrile-AMPS Copolymer
Abstract: Radiation behavior of Acrylonitrile AMPS copolymer has been investigated by Electron Spin Resonance (ESR), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) techniques. Temperature dependent ESR studies indicate that free radicals responsible for irradiated copolymer decay at around 100°C. Presence of macro-radicals and polyene radicals is detected. FTIR spectra of copolymer of unirradiated and irradiated are compared and chemical groups influenced by gamma irradiation are identified. The studies suggest that chain cleavage occur either …

Schrödinger Cat's Experiment's Interpretation and Parallel Universe or Multiple Universes
Abstract: Quantum mechanics provides us most fundamental descriptions of our most early universe, but there is a long-standing debate amongst theoretical physicists about what all these mathematics really mean in real world? The present three-dimensional (3D) universe, we humans experience daily since our birth, is probably just one of an enormous numbers of essentially classical worlds, and all quantum phenomena arise from a universal force of repulsions that prevented many universes …

Effect of Atmospheric Aerosol on Lightning Activity Over North East India
Abstract: The observations of the lightning activity variation from 1998 to 2011 due to atmospheric aerosol effect over the North East India have been reported here. It has been observed that the lightning activity increases very rapidly in this region with a rate of 867 lightning flashes per year. Lightning activity over this region mainly occurs in two periods—March to June and August to October every year. As the higher lightning …

A Review on Quantum Entanglement
Abstract: Erwin Schrodinger first used the phrase “quantum entanglement” in 1935 to describe a mechanical phenomenon at the quantum level where two (or more) particles’ quantum states must be defined in relation to one another even if they may be geographically apart. This paradoxical event has confounded us for a very long time. Entangled particle behavior appears to be mysterious, illogical, and akin to sorcery at work. The successful and dependable …

Management of Patellar Tendonitis with Polyherbal Ayurveda Formulation
Abstract: Patellar tendonitis or Jumper’s knee is the commonest observed tendon injury amongst sport persons; the disease occurs due to acute or chronic injury during repetitive jumping or running. Patella tendon (ligament) is extremely strong that connects patella to tibia. The tendon receives excessive wear and tear during jumping and stabilising lending. The tendon receives stress in sports persons and athletes involved in different activities of jumping or changing direction frequently. …

Marburg Virus a Global Infectious Disease: A Review
Abstract: This single negative-stranded RNA virus was first found in 1967 in the German cities Marburg and Frankfurt and Belgrade. The reason behind this virus disease was infected grivet monkeys were imported from Uganda. This virus is often called Vervet monkey disease due to the initial association between non-human primates and viruses. This virus is the etiologic agent of Marburg hemorrhagic fever in humans and non-human primates. Replication mainly occurs through …

A comprehensive study on interactions between protein molecules and their importance in Drug Discovery
Abstract: Protein-protein interactions (PPIs) are extremely specialized chemical and physical interactions that occur when two or more protein molecules come into contact with one another with the help of biochemical processes impacted by interactions between them, such as hydrogen bonding, electrostatic forces, and the hydrogen effect. Many interactions that occur in a specific bimolecular environment within a cell or living creature entail physical contact as well as molecular connections between chains. …

Driving Safety Performance and Business Resilience in India’s Agro and Food-Processing Industries: Integrating Safety Culture, Behaviors-Based Safety and Proactive Risk Management
Abstract: Food-processing safety depends on more than machinery safeguards, statutory compliance and written procedures. It is also shaped by leadership priorities, worker participation, supervisory practice, reporting climate and everyday decisions at the point of work. Behaviors-Based Safety (BBS) offers a structured means of observing critical behaviors, providing feedback and generating operational learning, but it can become counterproductive when it individualizes blame or substitutes for engineering and process-safety controls. This conceptual review …
