Evolving Perspectives: Innovations in Object Detection and Identification
Abstract: One of the most important developments in computer vision has been the creation of object detection and identification systems, which have allowed robots to perceive and understand visual data similarly to humans. These systems locate each object by drawing a bounding box around it, in addition to detecting and classifying every object in an image or video. This study suggests a novel method for item identification and detection that makes …

Identifying COVID-19 in chest X-ray and CT scan images through the application of machine learning algorithms.
Abstract: Since the beginning of the current COVID-19 pandemic, more than five million people have been infected and the numbers are still on the rise. Early symptom detection and proper hygienic standards are thus of utmost importance, especially in venues where people are in random or opportunistic contact with each other. To this end, automated systems with medical-grade body temperature measurement, hygienic compliance evaluation and individualized, person-to-person tracking, are essential, not …

A Study on the Characteristics of the Thermal Line Induced in the Limbs of a Human Body with a Pulse Light ACUP-Stimulation: New Meridian Phenomenon
Abstract: As the essence is clarified through phenomena, so the essence of the meridian is explained through their phenomena. In the past, it was attempted to clarify the nature of meridian by exploring the mechanisms of the meridian, but the aim of the present study was not achieved because of the lack of universality of the phenomena of the existing meridian phenomena. The same was the case for the thermal line—the …

Ventricular Arrhythmia Detection Techniques for ECG Signal: A Survey Approach
Abstract: Electrocardiogram (ECG) represents the electrical activity of the heart and is used to measure the rate and regularity of heartbeats. In this paper we propose a method for an Independent Component Analysis (ICA) based detection and classification of the ventricular arrhythmia. The malignant ventricular arrhythmia database from www.physionet.org/physiobank/database/vfdb has been utilized for evaluating the algorithm over MATLAB interface. This scheme assimilates ICA and probabilistic neural network for classifying critical arrhythmia …

Image Preprocessing and Analysis on Eye Fundus Images Segmentation by Using Density Clustering Methods
Abstract: In order to do an automated evaluation of various retinal illnesses such as Diabetic retinopathy, Glaucoma, and Macular Edema, fundus images must be pre-processed first. For many reasons, it's difficult to accurately detect the optic disc. Many blood vessels cross the optic disc, making it difficult to discern the disc's boundaries in fundus images. Lesion regions in diabetic retinopathy look very much like an optic disc's colour and texture, so …
