Assessment of Temporal Features for Geographical Localisation of Satellite Images
Abstract: AbstractMost of the geographical applications are dependent upon the frequent interpretation or analysis of satellite images captured at periodical manner. Consequently the observation is mainly due to the environmental or human based comprehensive changes in spatio-temporal information, which affect the overall process. Thus the past and present data are main sources in the various predictive investigations in remote sensing. While inherent spatial and spectral information are exploited severely, it is …

Effect of Short-term Exposure of Agrochemical Constituents (Nitrate, Nitrite, Phosphate and Potassium) on Survival of Fingerlings of Guppy Fish, Poecilia reticulata
Abstract: Increased use of agrochemicals enhances eutrophication and thereby inducing hypoxic condition which adversely affects aquatic flora and fauna. Present study was aimed to investigate the effects of short-term exposure of different concentration of nitrate (NO3), nitrite (NO2), phosphate (PO4) and potassium (K) on survival of Guppy fish, Poecilia reticulata. A Study on Radiation Effects in Acrylonitrile-AMPS Copolymer
Abstract: Radiation behavior of Acrylonitrile AMPS copolymer has been investigated by Electron Spin Resonance (ESR), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) techniques. Temperature dependent ESR studies indicate that free radicals responsible for irradiated copolymer decay at around 100°C. Presence of macro-radicals and polyene radicals is detected. FTIR spectra of copolymer of unirradiated and irradiated are compared and chemical groups influenced by gamma irradiation are identified. The studies suggest that chain cleavage occur either …

Historical Review of Ionosphere in Perspective of Sources of Ionization and Radio Waves Propagation
Abstract: Before the discovery of ionosphere, the electronic communication was not possible at a distance greater than 100 km due to the curvature of Earth; but after its discovery, the ionospheric wave propagation made possible the electronic communication at even more than 3000 km via reflection of radio waves through ionosphere. The ionosphere is electrically neutral, ranging from 50 to 1000 km in altitude and outer limit can exceed to 3000 …

Single-Server Queueing Model with Non-Homogeneous Compound Poisson Bulk Arrivals with Intervened Poisson Distribution
Abstract: Queuing models are used to analyse the practical situations in communication networks and transportation in a sophisticated manner. In most of the cases, the arrivals are time dependent and can be characterised by a non-homogenous Poisson process. In this paper, for the performance measures of a single-server queuing model with non-homogeneous compound Poisson bulk arrivals have been studied with intervened Poisson distribution. Sensitivity analysis has been carried out. It is …

Influence of Environmental Factors on Performance Traits in Murrah Buffaloes: A Review
Abstract: Abstract Murrah buffaloes are the most important milch buffalo breed in India with superior genetic potential and has been used quite extensively for upgrading local stock to improve performance of nondescript buffaloes throughout the country. The success of Indian dairy industry is much dependent on production, reproduction and functional traits of Murrah buffaloes. Performance of these traits in Murrah buffaloes are generally affected by environmental or non-genetic factors such as …

Obstetrical Operation and Epidural Analgesia in Domestic Animals: An Overview
Abstract: Harvesting a live calf depends upon the early intervention when getting call from owners or farm managers. Obstetrics skills are required to manage the dystocia either maternal or fetal form of dystocia. Diagnostic evaluation and treatment depends upon the condition presented to the obstetrician. Most probably obstetrician follows mutation, forced extraction, fetotomy and caesarean section. Most of the cases require mutation operation, the valid mutation operation followed by judicious traction …

Theoretical Study of Surface Excitations at Planar Surface of Zinc Selenide (ZnSe)
Abstract: ZnSe is a II-VI semiconductor material and has very novel properties. So it is currently demanding for various applications. Dispersion relation is employed here to study the elementary surface excitations at the planar surface of Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) semiconductor. These excitations are of various types such as plasmons, phonons, excitons etc. Plasmons are the quanta of valence electron oscillations, phonons are the quanta of lattice vibrations and excitons are the …

Dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) Inhibitors – a promising oral anti-diabetic drug
Abstract: Dipeptidyl-peptidase IV (DPP-4) inhibitors inhibit the degradation of the incretins i.e glucagon-like peptide1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide (GIP). Incretins augment the insulin release by a blood glucose-dependent mechanism. Generally DPP-IV enzyme is responsible for inactivating incretins and this enzyme inhibition will prolong and enhance the activity of GLP-1 and GIP. DPP-IV inhibitors increase post prandial insulin secretion, decreases glucagon secretion and seems to have beneficial effect on cardiovascular system, …

LLM-Assisted Programming: Trends, Evaluation Gaps, and Software Assurance
Abstract: Large language models (LLMs) are increasingly used for code generation, software testing, program repair, and security analysis. However, their evaluation still relies heavily on functional benchmarks that often focus on small, isolated programming tasks. Such benchmarks provide limited insight into security, test quality, repository-level dependencies, and maintainability. This study examines how the evaluation of LLM-assisted programming has developed across these application areas. The literature shows a gradual shift from function-level …

Quality Assurance Practices in Open-Source Versus Closed-Source Software Development: A Comparative Analysis
Abstract: Quality assurance (QA) is a decisive factor in determining whether software, whether openly developed or commercially closed, meets the reliability, maintainability, and usability expectations of its users. Open-source software (OSS) and closed-source software (CSS) pursue quality through structurally different mechanisms: OSS relies on distributed peer review, community-driven testing, and transparent issue tracking, while CSS depends on centralized quality departments, contractual accountability, and controlled release cycles. This article presents a comparative …

Thermal-Drift-Aware Adaptive Wavelength Stabilization Model for Silicon-Photonic Optical Communication Systems
Abstract: The increasing integration density and operating speed of silicon-photonic communication devices have intensified the influence of thermo-optic effects on wavelength stability, resonance alignment, optical transmission, and communication reliability. Temperature variations modify the effective refractive index and physical dimensions of photonic structures, resulting in resonance displacement and degradation of wavelength-dependent optical performance. This paper proposes a Thermo- Optical Resonance Tracking (TORT) model for adaptive wavelength stabilization in integrated optical communication systems. …
