Effect of Improvement of Collapsible Soils with Bitumen Emulsions on Collapsibility Rate for Varying Degrees of Saturation
Abstract: Collapsible soils are one of many problematic soils in Iraq. Many foundation failure problems that occurred in Iraq are associated with percolation of water; the change in the degree of saturation can affect the stability of these soils and may encounter large volumetric change. A series of tests conducted on collapsible soil using oedometer apparatus and the settlement–time curves are determined accurately, then each test is determined to a different …

Review on Generation Sources of Electrical Power
Abstract: AbstractElectricity generation is the progression of creating electric power of bases of primary energy. Designed for utilities from the electric power industry, it is the step prior to its delivery to end operators (transmission, distribution, other) or its storage (consuming, like the pumped-storage process). Emissivity and Dielectric Behavior of Red Soils of Dhule District at X-band Microwave Frequencies
Abstract: Using X-band (8.2 and 10.5GHz) experimentation, the fluctuation of the dielectric constant (ε’) and dielectric loss (ε’’) of soil samples with different moisture contents has been determined. After reaching a transition point, the value of (ε') grows gradually with moisture content before increasing quickly after that. The emissivity has been estimated from experimentally determined (ε’) using emissivity model for vertical polarization. The findings indicate that as MC/dielectric constant increases, emissivity …
