Nanostructure-Induced Thermoelectric Enhancement in Bi₂Te₃ Nanorods Design, Analysis, and Performance Evaluation
Abstract: Thermoelectric materials capable of efficient energy conversion near room temperature are critical for waste heat recovery applications. In this work, solution-grown Bi₂Te₃ nanorods were synthesized via a trioctylphosphine-assisted thermal decomposition route, and the influence of surfactant-induced nanostructuring on their thermoelectric properties was systematically investigated. Structural analysis using X-ray diffraction and Rietveld refinement confirmed the formation of rhombohedral Bi₂Te₃ with the emergence of Bi₂Te₃–BiTe nanocomposites at higher surfactant concentrations. Electron microscopy …

Bridging the Gap Between Product Development and Entrepreneurship in Engineering Curriculum: A Framework-Based Approach Aligned with NEP 2020
Abstract: Despite advancements in technical education, Indian engineering graduates frequently enter the workforce lacking critical competencies in product development (PD) and entrepreneurship. This imbalance has drawn scrutiny from industry and policymakers alike, with national directives such as the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) emphasizing a shift toward “experiential, holistic, integrated and inquiry-driven” learning models. Similarly, the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has embedded innovation labs, internship mandates and entrepreneurship courses …

Applications of Nanomaterials in Membrane Separation for Effluent Treatment in the Textile Industry
Abstract: The textile industry makes a significant contribution to economic growth. As the global population continues to increase exponentially, production rates are also on the rise to meet this growing demand. Unfortunately, this surge in production often leads to noncompliance with environmental regulations. While the textile industry supports economic development, it also contributes to serious pollution. Various dyes, such as azo dyes, Congo Red (CR), Crystal Violet, methylene blue, and methyl …

An Overview on VLSI based Hardware Security in IoT Node
Abstract: In the coming era, security will not be a feature we add to an IoT device; it will be a property inherent to its transistor-level design. By encoding security into the VLSI architecture, we move away from the fragile "software-only" paradigm and toward a future where the identity of the device is as immutable as the laws of physics. The rapid proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has transformed …
