Review on Functional and Histological Effect of Lead on the Central Nervous System
Abstract: Environmental and occupational exposure to a large number of chemicals occurs at various stages throughout human life. The nervous system is the organ that appears to be the most sensitive and chief target for lead-induced toxicity in comparison to other organs. Lead is also found in lead-glazed ceramics, and food is eaten or stored in containers painted with lead-based paint or lead-containing glaze may contain significant amounts of lead. Lead …

Hairy Cell Leukemia: A Morphological Dilemma in Case of Low Peripheral Blood Hairy Cell Count
Abstract: Hairy cell leukemia (HCL) is a lympho-proliferative neoplasm of mature B cells with an indolent course, representing 2 to 3% of all leukemias. It clinically presents as bicytopenia and splenomegaly. We here present a case report where peripheral blood smear showed few lymphoid cells with hairy projections. A suspicion of hairy cell leukemia was given which was confirmed later on bone marrow aspiration and biopsy followed by flow cytometry which …

Enhanced Sensitivity Iontronic Pressure Sensor Gauge Using Laser-Created Micro-Pyramid Structures for Wide Linear Range
Abstract: The achievement of high sensitivity, ultrahigh pressure resolution, and great linearity across a wide pressure range under huge pressure preloads remains a challenge despite the substantial development of flexible capacitive pressure sensors. Here we offer an ultrathin ionic layer-integrated microstructure creation process that is configurable. At 1700 kPa, the sensor's linear range sensitivity is 33.7 kPa-1; at 2000 kPa, the pressure resolution is 0.00725%, and the detection limit is 0.36 …

Innovative Approaches to Luminescence: Exciton-Polariton Lasers and Quantum Confinement in 2D Materials
Abstract: The phenomenon known as luminescence occurs when an external energy of any kind excites a substance's electronic state, and the excited energy is released as light. Luminescence is the absence of heat produced by light emission. Luminescence comes in a variety of forms, including thermoluminescence, bioluminescence, and chemiluminescence. Examples of luminescence include flat-screen TVs, LED lights, and bioluminescent phytoplankton. The measurement of the emission spectrum produced when previously excited atoms …

An Innovative Approach to Find the Optimum Lubricant for Diverse Applications Based on Scikit-Learn Library Using Python
Abstract: This paper presents an innovative approach for finding the optimum lubricant using the Scikit-learn library in Python. The proposed approach uses a linear regression model to analyze a dataset of lubricant properties and performance, specifically the viscosity, wear, and friction. The model is trained on the dataset to predict the wear and friction for a given viscosity, which can be used to identify the optimum lubricant. By analyzing a dataset …

Pharmacokinetic Profiling and Molecular Docking of Carvacrol and Structural Analogs: Targeting Quorum Sensing Proteins to Disrupt Biofilm-Mediated Antimicrobial Resistance in Multidrug-Resistant Bacterial Pathogen
Abstract: Antibiotic resistance, particularly in Pseudomonas aeruginosa, has become a major global health threat, exacerbated by the organism's ability to form biofilms and regulate virulence through quorum sensing (QS). The LuxR and LasR receptors are key regulators in this process, influencing both pathogenicity and antibiotic resistance. This study investigates potential QS inhibitors targeting these receptors as a strategy to mitigate antibiotic resistance. The primary objective was to identify novel ligands that …
