Abstract: This study aims to develop an eco-friendly alternative building material by incorporating waste plastic and quarry dust into the production of plastic-soil bricks. Plastic waste, particularly polyethylene terephthalate (PET), is utilized alongside laterite quarry waste and M-sand, supplemented with bitumen and gypsum. High Reflectivity Semiconductor-glass Grating Structure for SOI Application
Abstract: AbstractHigh reflectance of semiconductor-glass (GaAs-BSG, InP-FS, GaAs-FS, Ge-BK7, Ge-BSG) grating SOI structure at wavelength 1.55 µm is thoroughly investigated in this paper. Simulation result showed that, reflectivities are 99.01, 99.03, 99.20, 99.29 and 99.47% at wavelength 1.55 µm for GaAs-BSG, InP-FS, GaAs-FS, Ge-BK7, Ge-BSG grating SOI structure, respectively. Partial Characterization of Crude Lipase from Mutant Soil Fungal Isolate
Abstract: Lipases are cluster of enzymes which cleaves oils and fats. Characterization properties oflipases have been studied in the present investigation because they play an imperative role inseveral industrial applications. The present lipase obtained from soil fungal strain named asEMS5%-60min exhibited optimum activity at pH 7.0 (24.90±0.25 IU/ml/min) and 37ºC (20.28±0.51IU/ml/min).
