Abstract: Polyethylene terephthalate was depolymerized by two different chemical recycling techniques i.e. glycolysis and aminolysis. Glycolysis is carried out with Zinc hydroxide and with conventional catalyst i.e. Zinc acetate for the comparable yield of the monomer.
