Application of Blockchain Database in Voting Systems
Abstract: Nowadays, regular voting is conducted by electronic voting machines, or EVMs, which keep track of every voter's vote in a central database. Moreover, most of the scrutinized voting programs employed centralized data storage for their databases. Because these centralized databases are easily hacked and manipulated, all of the data is kept in one place. As a result, the numbers may not add up correctly during the voting process and may …

Finite Element Analysis of Tool Wear Rate in Electrical Discharge Machining and Comparison with Experimental Results
Abstract: Electrical discharge machining (EDM) is one of the precise non-traditional machining processes in which desired shape is obtained in workpiece using electrical sparks. In EDM, material removal from workpiece and tool takes place by means of successive sparks occurring between them. The tool wear is a critical problem in EDM as the change in tool shape directly affects the final shape of the workpiece. In this paper, finite element analysis …

Results of Thermal and Electric Field Influences on Cholesteric Liquid Crystals and their Application in new Technologies
Abstract: A significant achievement of recent decades is application of cholesteric liquid crystals in modern optical technologies. Cholesteric liquid crystals (ChLC) have unusual, and in some cases unique properties compared to traditional optical materials - the possibility of smooth and local control optical characteristics of the medium: light transmission, light scattering, polarization, refraction, reflection, absorption light, and color parameters. This control can be carried out electrical, light signals, mechanical, thermal, magnetic …

Comparison of Experimental and Theoretical Results of Tool Wear Rate in Electrical Discharge Machining
Abstract: Though electrical discharge machining (EDM) process is capable for complex and precise machining of materials irrespective of their hardness, it has certain limitations like low material removal rate (MRR), high tool wear rate (TWR), etc. which restrict its application areas. In EDM, material removal from workpiece and tool takes place by means of sparking between them which is a quite complex process. So, it is difficult to predict material removal …

The Study of the Formation of Negatively Charged Electrolysis Hydrogen Bubbles and Their Size Control Under Microgravity Conditions for Separation of Solid Inclusions from Fluid
Abstract: The previously conducted theoretical description of the mechanism of formation of negatively charged electrolysis hydrogen bubbles and control of their size under terrestrial conditions, confirmed experimentally, permitted to conclude that negatively charged electrolysis hydrogen bubbles, floating up in a fluid, meet on their way the solid particle with dimensions much larger than the size of bubbles and induce a positive charge on the surface of the solid particle. As a …

Purification of industrial wastewater using a photoelectroflotation process powered by solar energy
Abstract: The main problem of all existing electroflotation methods of wastewater treatment is salinization of the near-anode space during electroflotation, which leads to the formation of salt deposits on the anode, which strongly cover the anode surface, which can lead to a complete stop of the electroflotation process. The anode, used by electroflotation devices has a dense grid of small cells, which, on the one hand, increases the current density, but, …

Two-chamber Medical Electroflotator for Cleaning of the Lymph of Cancer Patients from Toxic Substances and for the Destruction and Removal of Cancer Cells Contained in It
Abstract: Existing devices for cleaning of the lymph of patients with liver cirrhosis or hepatitis from a high concentration of toxic substances, contained in it, do not allow cleaning the body of patients from these toxic substances. In addition, these devices require the patient's lymph to be purified in a discrete mode, i.e., all the patient's lymph, without which the patient remains, is purified for a sufficiently long time, and after …
