The Awareness–Behaviour Paradox: Media Literacy and Social Media Risk Behaviour Among Nigerian Undergraduates
Abstract: Background: The proliferation of internet-capable devices and social media platforms has created an intricate web of risks for Nigerian undergraduates, including cyberbullying, addiction, misinformation, and exposure to indecent content. While media literacy has been widely proposed in Western scholarship as a sustainable intervention for responsible online behaviour, its protective mechanisms remain insufficiently understood in non-Western contexts, particularly with respect to the psychological pathways through which literacy operates. Objectives: This study …

Kaniadakis Holographic Dark Energy by Using Hybrid Scale Factor
Abstract: We carry out the work on Kaniadakis holographic dark energy KHDE with hybrid expansion law by taking the scale factor containing both exponent and exponential form. Therby revealing the present state of accelerating and expanding universe in the flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walber universe. The deceleration parameter q portrays whether he universe is decelerating or accererating. q greater than zero suggests the universe is slowing down or getting decelerated and q less than …

Unified Mass–Energy Dissolution Cosmology (UMEDC): A Staged Framework for Cosmic Energy Transformation and Late-Time Acceleration
Abstract: The ΛCDM model successfully describes the universe’s expansion but remains fundamentally descriptive: it assigns fixed densities to matter, dark matter, and dark energy without providing a unifying physical mechanism behind their coexistence or evolution. In this work, we introduce the Unified Mass–Energy Dissolution Cosmology (UMEDC), a novel framework based on the staged transformation M → DM → DE, where ordinary matter gradually dissolves into a dark-matter-like reservoir, which subsequently transforms …
