Abstract: Benzothiazoles are an important biologically active heterocyclic compounds which contain six membered benzene rings fused with five membered thiazole rings at 1,4 positions. Review of Mercaptoimidazoles as Anti-infective Agents
Abstract: 2-Mercaptoimidazole or imidazol-2-thione is five-membered heterocyclic ring having two nitrogen, same as imidazole and sulphur group attached to it at 2nd position. Imidazol-2-thione and its derivatives shows the biological activities such as antibacterial, fungicidal, antioxidant, antitumor, and antitubercular.
