Effects of Rice Husk Waste on Mechanical Properties of Rubber-Based Speed Bumps
Abstract: In this work, rice husk used as filler has been added to a rubber batch which is used in the manufacturing of rubber speed bumps. The prepared batch was consisted of the reclaim as by-product or as undesirable material. The work completed in one of Iraqi manufacturing of tires. The mechanical properties of the new compositions have been measured for different loadings in the matrix in order to prove the …

Silver Particles coating on polypropylene matrix for bacterial filter property
Abstract: Silver particles have a wide range of biomedical applications, including their use as drug. In this paper, we report on the synthesis of silver particles using crude aqueous extract of Manihot esculenta leaf extract. Two different (conventional stirring and ultrasonic) methods were employed in the reduction of AgNO3 process. Native extract as well Ag colloidal extract were checked cytotoxicity against Human Cervical Carcinoma cell. The anti cancer results achieved excellent …

Studies of Tin Whisker Formation and Destruction
Abstract: This article contains whisker growth in current implements considered in electronics packaging. These surface relief growths are said contemporarily to prevent and save devices after Pb abatement. Vacancy flux at crack created from compressive stresses cause mass transfer to guide oxides for direct and control of whiskers. Logical subject to shift mass from equiax to migrating morphologies of equiax such as columns. Criteria from past theories for Sn whisker growth …

Recording on Passive Capillary Flow of Dyed Working Liquids in the Polymer based Microfluidic Devices Fabricated inside the Cleanroom Laboratory
Abstract: In this experimental work, author has fabricated total 13 individual microfluidic devices using the maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography, direct bonding technique, diamond like carbon (DLC) coating, and laboratory-made clamping inside the cleanroom laboratory using author’s own hands-on completely. Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) is the chosen polymer to fabricate the 10 individual microfluidic devices due to its plasticity and optical transparency. Dyed water, dyed ethylene glycol and dyed ethanol are the prepared …

Internal Lattice Structure and Local Order of Ge Atoms Structure in Amorphous Mn doping GeTe Thin Films
Abstract: Phase-change Magnetic materials (PCMMs) represent the leading candidates for universal data storage devices, which exploit the large difference in the physical properties of their transitional lattice structures. Here, an experimental study was done to investigate the internal lattice structure and local order of Ge atoms in amorphous Mn doping GeTe thin films. The microstructure of the as-deposited films of Ge1-xMnxTe thin films (with x = 0.06, 0.13, 0.52 and 0.61) …
