Parameter Estimation of Nakagami Distribution under Weighted Loss Function
Abstract: In this paper, the Nakagami distribution is considered for Bayesian analysis. The expressions for Bayes estimators of the scale parameter have been derived under squared error and weighted loss functions by using quasi and inverted gamma priors.

Evaluation of “Lignocaine Hydrochloride 2% Jelly” at the Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation on the Intensity of Pain amongst the Patients
Abstract: Intravenous cannulation is usually associated with some amount of pain. The application of Lignocaine hydrochloride jelly at the site prior to peripheral intravenous cannulation has been shown to decrease the intensity of pain. The objective was to study the effect of application of “Lignocaine hydrochloride 2% jelly” at the site prior to peripheral intravenous cannulation on intensity of pain. In a quasi-experimental research design 105 adult patients receiving chemotherapy and …

Effect of Valsalva Maneuver Prior to Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation on Vital Signs
Abstract: Venous cannulation is a mandatory requirement for the administration of fluids, drugs, blood products and nutritional solutions. Insertion of an intravenous (IV) cannula is very distressing for many patients. A comprehensive approach is needed to ensure comfort during cannulation. Valsalva maneuver stimulates the vagus nerve and induces changes in vital signs. The objective of the current study was to evaluate the effect of Valsalva maneuver prior to peripheral IV cannulation …

A Quasi-Experimental Investigation of The Effects of Two Different Negative Pressure Levels During Open Endotracheal Tube Suctioning on Physiological Parameters in Mechanically Ventilated Patients in The PCCM ICU At Pt. B.D. Sharma P.G.I.M.S., Rohtak
Abstract: Introduction: Patients who are intubated often have difficulty clearing secretions through coughing. As a result, endotracheal suctioning is essential to minimize the risk of consolidation and atelectasis, which could impair ventilation. However, suctioning can pose several risks and complications, including bleeding, infection, atelectasis, hypoxemia, cardiovascular instability, increased intracranial pressure, and potential damage to the tracheal mucosa. The level of negative pressure applied during suctioning plays a crucial role in the …

(𝛅,Ü ) Convex Structure on Partial B-Metric Space Concerning Quasi Contraction and Fixed-Point Results
Abstract: This work introduces the concept of (δ,Ü )– Convex Partial b-Metric Spaces using convex structure. Motivated by this approach, we demonstrated fixed point results and their uniqueness, as well as quasi contraction, and provided some supporting instances for the established results. Our findings expand prior fixed-point results to a novel concept (δ,Ü )– Convex Partial b-Metric Spaces. To support our theoretical findings, we provide several instances that exemplify the established …

An Investigation into the Efficacy of a Structured Teaching Program on Understanding Pubertal Changes and Menarche Among Adolescent Girls Enrolled at a Designated PU College in Gadag
Abstract: Background of the Study:Adolescence pertains to the phase of physical and physiological maturation occurring between childhood and adulthood. The commencement of adolescence, often linked to the initiation of puberty, introduces significant shifts in hormone levels and various ensuing physical transformations. The onset of puberty is also connected to substantial changes in drives, motivations, psychology, and social interactions, which persist throughout the adolescent period. A growing body of neuroimaging research is …

Tailoring the Compressive Behavior of Tetrachiral Auxetic Structures Through FDM Process-Parameters
Abstract: This research evaluates how fused deposition modeling (FDM) fabrication process parameters affect the compressive behavior of tetrachiral auxetic structures created from Polylactic Acid (PLA). Auxetic materials have several useful properties, including reversible deformation and high-energy absorbing capabilities, which are beneficial to creating ultra-lightweight structural, protective, and shock-resistance designs. Among the available auxetic topologies, the tetrachiral configuration is particularly attractive for engineering use, because its rotation-dominated node–ligament deformation gives a negative …
