Design and Testing of Self-inflating Tyres for Passenger Car Using Peristaltic Pump Principle
Abstract: One of the major issues in today’s automotive sector is under-inflated tyres. In this category at least a single tyre in 27% of passenger’s cars and 33% of light trucks and SUV faces under-inflation by more than 25%, finally concludes with 4.69 billion liter of fuel wasted per year. Under-inflation and over-inflation conditions also affect the safety, fuel economy, tyre longevity, environmental and driving performance. One of the solutions to …

Metro Systems' Role in Reducing CO2 Emissions in Urban Transport
Abstract: To better understand the impact of metro systems on reducing CO2 emissions in urban transport, a detailed analysis is required. This analysis should evaluate both the direct and broader effects of metro networks on the overall urban transportation system. It is crucial to quantify the actual contribution of metro systems in cutting CO2 emissions by considering the entire transport network. The evaluation should include not only the emissions generated by …

Effective Strategies for Sustainable Soil and Water Management: Enhancing Agricultural Productivity and Environmental Conservation
Abstract: Soil and water are essential natural resources, and their degradation due to erosion, overgrazing and other factors is ongoing. Water erosion is influenced by climate, topography, vegetation and soil, while wind erosion is affected by wind characteristics, surface features, topography and soil properties. Unsustainable land and water management practices lead to reduced soil fertility, soil loss, lower crop yields, water depletion, deforestation, and diminished biomass. Of the 1386 million cubic …

Bird-Tree Associations and Co-occurrence Patterns in Delhi: Implications for Urban Ecological Restoration and Invasive Species Management
Abstract: Urban trees and birds are intertwined indicators of ecological resilience in cities. This study maps citywide bird-tree interactions in Delhi, India, hosting more than 300 avian species. The city was divided into hexagonal grids, and bird-tree data (506 interactions) were collected through field surveys across 131 sites using standardised 1-kilometre transects. Native keystone species like ficus supported the greatest bird diversity, while invasive Prosopis juliflora was widely used for perching …

Experimental Test for the Replacement of Aluminum Sheets Instead of Steel Sheets in the Automotive Industry and the Effect of this Replacement
Abstract: Nowadays, vehicles cause air pollution due to high fuel consumption, and it has a direct relationship with increasing vehicle weigh. The increase of pollution will lead to rise in greenhouse gases that will cause special damages during a long period time. In this paper, instead of using steel sheets, aluminum sheets are proposed for the vehicle body and its interior components. It is attractive to increase its speed by reduction …

Comparison of Conventional RCC Columns, Steel Columns and Composite Columns
Abstract: Worldwide, the steel industry is expanding almost everywhere. Compared to the USA, EU, and other developed nations, India uses less steel in the construction industry. Additionally, India's cities have some of the highest population densities per square kilometre, which limits horizontal construction growth and favours vertical development. Steel structures are more ductility and can undergo more deflections while concrete structures are larger and attracts more seismic weight. Hybrid construction combines …

An Overview of Bioinformatics
Abstract: What is bioinformatics? Biology and computer science? How are they related to each other? This question, I believe, could have been raised even in the nineteenth century, when computer and biological technologies were just emerging. The great Louis Pasteur (1822–1895) was researching the relationship between the presence of a particular microorganism and alcohol fermentation in a particular French city. Ada Lovelace, a mathematician who shared Charles Babbage’s vision, was attempting …
