Landscape Characterization in a Watershed of Western Himalayan Ecoregion
Abstract: The study was carried out in Kalsa watershed of Western Himalayan Ecoregion to quantify the landscape structure with special reference to different forest ecosystems. Vegetation and land use map generated using satellite remote sensing data was taken as an input for quantification of landscape structure, which was quantified based on different patch attributes (number, area, shape complexity) and landscape indices viz., Euclidean nearest neighbor distance and contagion. Temperate broadleaf forest …

Conservation Prioritization using Multi-criteria Decision Model: A Case Study in Part of Western Himalayan Ecoregion
Abstract: Vegetation and land use map was prepared using the satellite image of IRS-1D LISS III sensor. Four vegetation types were mapped, viz., temperate broadleaf forest, temperate conifer forest, pine forest and degraded forest. Different forest types were characterized for conservation prioritization based on parameters obtained through field sampling and landscape analysis. These parameters were (i) species diversity, (ii) mosaic diversity, (iii) total plant value, and (iv) contagion. The areas of …

Climate Change and Community Mental Health
Abstract: There can be multiple reasons for climate disturbed mental state climate change is one of it, which creates effect on individual’s scrupulous behavior as well as on community mental health as well as makes an aftermath effect on the society which resulted in a deteriorated progress. The affect ranges from psychological, emotional, neural as well as affecting the physical basis of life which leads to degradation of human progress. Human …

A Scrutiny on Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Backing through IT
Abstract: Coronaviruses are a group of enveloped contagions with on-segmented, single-stranded, and positivesense RNA genomes. Six coronaviruses have been known to infect mortal hosts and cause respiratory conditions after infecting a variety of economically important invertebrates (such as gormandizers and cravens). Among them, several acute respiratory pattern coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and Middle East respiratory pattern coronavirus (MERS-CoV) are zoometric and largely pathogenic coronaviruses that have rebounded in indigenous and global outbreaks Coronaviruses …

Robotic Arm Innovations: Addressing Emerging Healthcare Challenges
Abstract: This Robotic arm is programmable in nature and nature, be manipulated. The robotic arm is also occasionally appertained to be as anthropomorphic as it's veritably analogous to that of mortal hand. Robots are extensively used for variety of tasks that are considered too dangerous to be performed by humans the rapid-fire progress in robotic fashion provides new openings for biomedical and healthcare engineering presently, there's an adding population of cases …

Update on Epidemiology, Virion Structure, Pathogenesis, Diagnosis, Treatment of COVID-19 with Future Perspectives: A Narrative Review
Abstract: COVID-19 or coronavirus disease 2019 is a pandemic contagion, leading to the death of many more people globally. In simpler terms, COVID-19 is a very contagious illness caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which stands for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2. The main aim of the present paper was to give an update about the incidence, mode of spread, viral multiplication, treatments available, complications with future expectations. The virus's ability to …

Synthetic Viruses: A Review
Abstract: Fast advance in DNA synthesis and sequencing is leading the deliberate, large-scale hereditary change of organisms. Common objective of this new methodology is to advance our understanding of an organism's properties, especially its pathogenic ordnance in the event that it causes illness in people, and to make utilization of this new data to shield from, or treat, human viral disease. These new advances in DNA control have been stretched out …
