A Comprehensive Ahp-Topsis Approach For Non-Traditional Machining Process Selection In The Manufacturing Sector
Abstract: Non-traditional machining processes (NTMPs) are being used more widely in modern industry as a result of the increased use of advanced materials in that sector. Selecting the best Non-Traditional Machining Process (NTMP) is essential to a manufacturing company's success and competitiveness. One way to think of the process of choosing the best NTMP for a given machining processes application is as a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem with a lot of …

Geotechnical Influence Factors in Empirical Design of Highway Pavement: The A123 Ilorin – Lokoja Highway, Nigeria Case Studies
Abstract: Site investigation and application of geological and geotechnical influence factors on the highway were investigated. Method involved field sampling, geotechnical laboratory and x-ray diffraction analysis and use of SRTM extracted slope and drainage parameters; and their integration in a GIS based multi-criteria decision analysis to derive a subgrade suitability map as a design tool. The suitability criteria classified the highway into four (4) design sections. Section one for very low …

Integrated Remote Sensing Indices for Assessing Pre-Monsoon Water Scarcity Vulnerability in a Semi-Arid Coastal Ecosystem: A Case Study of Barda Wildlife Sanctuary, Gujarat, India
Abstract: Freshwater availability fundamentally shapes the structure and function of dryland ecosystems, where evapotranspiration exceeds precipitation for most of the year. Protected areas in semiarid regions face intensifying hydrological stress from climate variability, growing wildlife populations, and resident human communities, yet systematic spatial assessments of water scarcity remain scarce for many critical habitats. The Barda Wildlife Sanctuary in coastal Gujarat, India, has recently become a secondary home for the endangered Asiatic …
