Morphological and Optical Properties of Pure and Doped ZnS Nanoparticles: A Review
Abstract: In this article, authors have discussed that, how doping of different materials affects the photoluminescence property of ZnS nanoparticles. Structural properties of these doped ZnS nanoparticles have been analysed by X-ray diffraction, which shows the diameter of the particles. The unique luminescence properties, such as the strength (its intensity is about 12 times that of ZnS nanoparticles) and stability of the visible-light emission were observed from doped ZnS nanoparticles. However, …

Sonochemical Synthesis and Photo-Catalytic Study of Cd Doped Znse Nanoparticles
Abstract: Cd doped ZnSe nanoparticles have been successfully synthesized with sonochemical process by reacting high purity acetates and sodium selenosulphate at 343 K. The size of nanoparticles was calculated by using powder XRD. It shows the crystalline size ranging between 35.3 nm to 45.44 nm. XRD further shows that ZnSe nanocrystallites are polycrystalline in nature and belong to the hexagonal phase. SEM shows that the particles are spherical in shape. Effect …

Hydrothermal synthesis of ZnS for efficient photodegradation of Malachite green
Abstract: In this work, ZnS nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal method. Various characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-visible optical spectroscopy and FT-IR spectra were used to study the structural, composition and optical properties of synthesized nanoparticles. The XRD pattern showed that the prepared ZnS nanoparticles have a cubic zinc blende structure. The band gap is calculated from absorption spectra with the help of Taucplot and is found to be …

Spectroscopic and Electrical Studies of Conducting Polyaniline Composites Embedded Nanostructure Zinc Sulfide
Abstract: Simple and low-cost chemical precipitation method was used for the synthesis of ZnS nanoparticles using zinc precursor and DMF as a stabilizing agent. Na2S was used as the source of sulphur ions. Composites of polyaniline and ZnS nanoparticles have been synthesized by in-situ chemical oxidation method by varying weight percentage of synthesized ZnS nanoparticles with aniline monomer. Optical studies in terms of UV-Vis and fluorescence show the positive effect of …

Synthesis and Surface Studies of ZnS/PVK Nanocomposites
Abstract: ZnS/PVK nanocomposites have been successfully prepared by chemical method. The optical and electrical properties of nanomaterials can be controlled by their particle size and therefore attracted much interest for their fundamental and applied aspects. The sizes of the particles were varied with different ZnS concentrations. The XRD pattern showed that the ZnS nanoparticles have zinc-blend structure and line broadening suggests the formation of the amorphous compound. The observations show that …

Surfactant-Mediated Synthesis and Stabilization of Colloidal Nanoparticles in Aqueous Media: A Preliminary Study on Controlling Parameters
Abstract: Surfactants dissolved in water possess a distinctive tendency to accumulate at surfaces or interfaces, a process that involves the migration of surfactant molecules from the bulk liquid phase to the interfacial region. This adsorption tendency of surfactants is being exploited in stabilization of the Nanoparticles (NPs) synthesized through colloidal chemistry routes. In present research, preliminary studies on controlling parameters involving various surfactants has been carried out to standardized the chemical …
