Runway Automatic Management System of ATC for Air-craft Take-off and Landing
Abstract: The existing system of ATC uses a manual system where pilots of air-crafts have to manually contact ATC for requesting permissions for landing or take-off. Air-traffic controllers follow FAA handbook containing a set of rules by which they manage the runway clearance and grant permissions to pilots. But this manual system requires conversation between Air-traffic Controllers and pilots in specific linguistic style. Aviation history shows many accidents have occurred due …

Available Transfer Capability (ATC) under Deregulated Environment
Abstract: The structure of the power industry is moving towards deregulated environment from the regulatory environment (monopoly). With deregulation taking place in the power industry, it introduces a more competitive environment in terms of free choice of suppliers for the trading of electricity. Monopolies of an industry will lead to a poor performance from the sector as there are no competitions for the sole company to strive for improvement. It will …

Enhancement of ATC using UPFC under Deregulated Environment
Abstract: Available transfer capability is the most important factor for the identification of power transfer from gencos to discos. In a deregulated power system, power producer and customer share a common transmission network for wheeling of the electric power. This may cause violation of line flow, voltage and stability limits and thereby undermine the security limit [1]. To improve the available transfer capability of the system FACTS controllers are used. UPFC …

Multi-layer Perceptron Ensemble for Estimation of Available Transfer Capability in Deregulated Environment
Abstract: The available transfer capability (ATC) estimation problem can be considered as a unique answered puzzle to be solved with highly nonlinear complexity of power systems and the uncertain state of the energy market. To implement the open access in deregulated markets, system operator should post ATC at a small and regular interval on openly accessible network. This forces the quick computation of ATC of transmission path. In these situations, the …

Self-Nanoemulsifying Drug Delivery System for Atorvastatin Calcium: Design, Optimization and Evaluation
Abstract: Atorvastatin calcium (ATC) is the choice of drug in the treatment of moderate to severe hypercholesterolemia. In the current study, ATC self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery systems (SNEDDS) were prepared in an attempt to improve the bioavailability by enhancing its solubility. The solubility of ATC in various oils, surfactants, and co-surfactants were determined. Based on their solubility, Capmul MCM (oil), Tween 20 (surfactant), propylene glycol (Co-surfactant) was selected for preparation of SNEDDS. …
