Compact Circularly Polarized Patch Antenna with U-Slot and Defected Ground
Abstract: A compact single-feed circularly polarized (CP) patch antenna at L-band is designed. The antenna contains a U-slot and is designed with DGS technique to reduce the size of antenna. With the presence of the U-slot, the antenna fabricated on a high-dielectric-constant (10.2) substrate achieves a reasonable axial-ratio bandwidth. The operating frequency is 1.521 GHz. The measured gain is 2.5 dBi, and bandwidth is 86.8 MHz.

Design of Ultra-Wide Band Slotted PIFA for Wireless Devices
Abstract: The design of an ultra-wideband planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) is proposed for mobile phone applications in this paper. Development of Bandwidth Enhanced Microstrip Patch Antenna for UMTS Application
Abstract: In this article, a low-profile microstrip patch antenna for UMTS application is presented. A wideband coaxial probe-fed slotted microstrip patch antenna has been simulated on IE3D software to give a wide bandwidth of 31.34% and tested successfully.
