Chemical Processing of SU-8 Photoresist to Record the Surface-Driven Microfluidic Flow of Dyed Working Liquid in the Regime of Fluid Mechanics
Abstract: Chemical processing of negative photoresist SU-8 is performed to fabricate a set of three individualSU-8 based glass microfluidic devices inside the cleanroom laboratory. The major steps of SU-8processing are spin coating using a spin coater, soft baking, ultra-violet (UV) exposure, post exposurebaking, development by SU-8 developer, and hard baking. The indirect bonding for leakage-freesealing is used during hard baking to fabricate the microfluidic devices. Author has prepared thedyed water to …

Experimental Demonstration on Microfluidic Capillary Flow of Red Dye in Photoresist based Glass Microfluidic Devices
Abstract: In this experimental work, a set of three individual SU-8 based glass microfluidic devices are fabricated by maskless lithography and indirect bonding technique in leakage-free conditions. Commercially available red coloured food dye is used as the selected working liquid. The microfluidic leakage in other set of two leaky microfluidic devices is experimentally demonstrated. Microfluidic devices should be fabricated at leakage-free conditions to achieve exact fluid flow characteristics. The effect of …

Optical Recording of Flow Phenomena in Photoresist based Microfluidic Devices
Abstract: AbstractIn this experimental work, a set of three individual SU-8 based glass microfluidic devices are fabricated by maskless lithography and indirect bonding technique without having any microfluidic leakage. Dyed ethanol (10% ethanol, 90% red dye) is prepared and used as dyed working liquid. The microfluidic leakage is observed in other set of two leaky microfluidic devices due to improper indirect bonding technique. The effect of surface-to-volume ratio on surface-driven capillary …

Flip chip package to revive authenticated proclaim
Abstract: This article is described to access optimal manufacture process for flip-chip package. Method of electrical connection has subjected in flip chip to describe interlink of die to package carrier. Connection from die to exterior of package has thus, dealt by package carrier that has been either substrate or lead-frame. Interconnection between die and carrier has made using wire to subject standard package. Nevertheless, advanced technology nodal device fabrication has scriptive …

Visible and Infrared Light Detection
Abstract: A circuit is made to detect either visible or infrared light. It is designed by using different light detectors, such as, infrared phototransistor, visible phototransistor, and photoresistor. If no light is shining on the detector in the circuit, the green LED is flashing. When the light is shining on the detector, the red LED starts flashing instead of the green one. Op-amp LMC 6482 builds up a simple voltage follower …

Experimental Demonstration on the Leakage-Free Surface-Driven Capillary Flow of Red Dye
Abstract: In this work, two individual SU-8 based glass microfluidic devices are fabricated by the maskless lithography and indirect bonding technique. Commercially available red-colored food dye is used as the working liquid. Microfluidic leakage is observed between the glass lid and SU-8 based microchannel substrate due to the improper indirect bonding technique. Leakage-free surface-driven capillary flow is observed due to the proper indirect bonding technique. CMOS camera is used to capture …

Experimental Studies on the Surface-Driven Capillary Flow of Dyed Water in Multistage Microfluidic Bends
Abstract: AbstractA single three-stage and a pair of two-stage microfluidic bends are fabricated. SU-8 as negative photoresist is used to fabricate the stamp by maskless lithography and diamond like carbon (DLC) coating. Microchannel structures are fabricated using polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) by hot embossing lithography. Direct bonding technique is used to fabricate the leakage-free sealing in microfluidic bends. The leakage-free surface-driven capillary flow is recorded by CMOS camera. This work will be useful …
