From Battlefield to Biodiversity: The Evolution of Drones in Modern Conservation Efforts in Wildlife
Abstract: The rapid advancement of drone technology, encompassing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), and remotely piloted aircraft (RPAs), has significantly impacted various fields, particularly environmental management and wildlife conservation. Originally designed for military use, drones have now become essential tools in ecological research, offering a cost-effective and minimally invasive way to monitor and protect ecosystems. These sophisticated "eco-drones" have revolutionized data collection, especially in hard-to-reach and previously inaccessible …

Blockchain-Enabled Secure Wireless Communication IoT Networks
Abstract: Cloud-native environments with their distributed environments and transient workloads raise the intrinsic problem of traditional intrusion detection and response systems to unprecedented levels. Modern cloud platforms have rapid elasticity, microservice orientation, and dynamic scaling, which usually exceed the range of centralized security services, contributing to the problem of slower threat detection and a poor ability to contain the threat. The proliferation of the Internet of Things (IoT) gadgets across different …

Machine Learning Optimization for VARTM Carbon Polymer Laminates
Abstract: Vacuum-assisted resin transfer moulding (VARTM) is a key low-cost, out-of-autoclave process for manufacturing large-scale carbon-fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) laminates crucial to aerospace wings, wind-turbine blades, marine hulls, and automotive structures. Unpredictable resin flow often leads to voids, dry spots, and race-tracking defects, resulting in 27.9% scrap rates and lengthy, costly trial-and-error design cycles. Although surrogate models provide rapid impregnation predictions for simple flat-plate geometries, vision-based monitoring is limited to idealized …

Leak Location Detection in Underground Pipeline Using Transient Pollutant Propagation Concentration Signature Analysis with Theory of Hypernumbers
Abstract: The paper introduces a new analytical method of detecting leakage locations in underground pipe systems. For the first time, the phenomenon of pollutant backflush through leaks in liquid transport systems is used for algorithmic leak location identification. The paper compares the proposed concept with known monitoring methods. The theoretical analysis of the method's capability to increase leak localization distance and detect the location of tiny holes in pipelines is provided. …

Drug Induced Immune Mediated Nephritis: Molecular Mechanism , Pathways and Clinical Implications
Abstract: Drug-induced immune-mediated nephritis (DI-IMN) has become a more widely known cause of acute kidney injury (AKI), with the potential for development to chronic kidney disease if not detected and treated promptly. T-cell hypersensitivity to pharmaceuticals, such as antibiotics, proton pump inhibitors, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and immunological drugs, are the major causes for it. Beyond clinical burden, DI-IMN reflectsintricate molecular interactions that sustain interstitial inflammation and tubular injury. These interactions include …
