Effect of Inter Shell Spacing on Performance of MWCNT Bundle at 100 µm Interconnect Length
Abstract: This paper introduces the aspects of the utilization of Multi Wall Carbon Nanotube (MWCNT) as VLSI interconnects. The equivalent impedance parameters are figured concerning inter-shell spacing for L=100 µm and examination through diagrams are demonstrated. The delay and power dissipation of MWCNT with changing inter shell spacing have additionally been mimicked for ideal driver size and ideal number of repeaters at 32 nm, 22 nm and 16 nm technology nodes, …

A Mini Review on Genes Associated with in vitro and in vivo Carbon Nanotubes Toxicity
Abstract: Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are the most extensively used nanomaterials due to their unique properties and diverse applications. The potential toxicity caused due to the exposure of CNTs in vitro and in vivo is being widely studied. This mini review provides information about the genes responsible for inflammatory, fibrotic and apoptotic responses during single and multi-walled CNT toxicity. Based on published literature, the upregulated pro-inflammatory genes are EGR1, ATF3, FGF21, EGF1 …

Effect of CNTs on Mechanical Properties of Mg-CNT Nano Composites Synthesized Through Stir Casting
Abstract: Multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) reinforced magnesium (Mg) nano composites were synthesized using vacuum stir casting technique. Three different weight fractions of MWCNTs (0.33, 0.66, 0.99 wt%) are added with Mg melt and stirred at 450 rpm for 10 min to obtain homogeneous mixture and deposited in a metallic mould. The deposited composite is then extruded at 450oC with an extrusion ratio of 11.11. Samples are prepared from the extruded composite …

Mechanical Properties of MWCNT Reinforced Aluminium Nano Composites Synthesized Through Powder Metallurgy
Abstract: Multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) reinforced aluminium nano composites were synthesized using powder metallurgy technique and then cold extruded as secondary process. CNTs were added by 0.5wt%, 1wt%, 1.5wt% with aluminium powders and ball milled to obtain homogeneous mixture. The effects of carbon nano tubes (CNTs) on the mechanical properties of Al were investigated. The effect of mixing through ball milling, sintering temperature and extrusion process on the microstructure is explored. …

Carbon Nano Tubes: New Techniques for Cancer Treatment
Abstract: Carbon Nano tubes (CNTs) have been recently introduced as a novel carrier system in the biomedical field and produce small and large therapeutic molecules. CNTs have attracted increasing attention for their versatile applications. Based on layers of CNTs, CNTs are generally divided into two categories: single-walled carbon Nano tubes (SWCNTs), multi-walled carbon Nano tubes (MWCNTs). It shows the unique properties and cylindrical shape structure. It shows a greater advantage in …

Effect of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes on Compressive Strength of Concrete
Abstract: The objective of the suggested study was to examine the possible application of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as nano reinforcement to improve concrete's compressive strength. Single-walled carbon tubes (SWCNTs) and multi-walled carbon tubes (MWCNTs) are two groups of cylindrical-shaped carbon allotropes known as carbon nanotubes (CNTs). Tests are carried out 7, 14, and 28 days after the MWCNTs are reinforced in M20 grade concrete at 0.02% and 0.025% (by weight …

Evaluation of CI Engine Performance and Emissions Using WB10CNT90: A CNT-Reinforced Biodiesel Blend Approach and its Marketing Prospects for sustainable fuel Commercialization
Abstract: The experimental and analytical evaluation of the WB10CNT90 blend—a combination of 10% waste biodiesel derived from Madhuca longifolia, 90% conventional diesel, and 100 ppm Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs)—demonstrates its potential as an efficient and eco-friendly alternative to conventional diesel. The Brake Thermal Efficiency (BTE) of the engine increased by approximately 15%, indicating enhanced energy conversion efficiency during combustion. Simultaneously, the Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC) showed a reduction of nearly …

The Effect of CNT Coating on Convective Heat Transfer Coefficient, Heat Flux, Roughness, Pressure Drop of Porous Material with 3-Omega Technique: A Review
Abstract: The paper deals with the tentative survey on the heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of CNT glaze on a stainless steel substrate in a rectangular comprehensive channel with water as the working fluid. The extremely high thermal conductivity of individual carbon nanotubes was predicted hypothetically and pragmatic experimentally. Under both, laminar and turbulent flow conditions, the experiments were conducted with Reynolds number unpredictable from 500–2600. A nanofluid, which depends …
