Application and Characterization of Egg Shell
Abstract: AbstractEgg shell is discarded as wastes from different sources like hotels, houses etc. They were collected, purified and powdered by mixer. Eggshell powder is used as a fertilizer in a tomato plant and also is used as a calcium supplement for females. Extracted calcium from different egg shell was characterized for Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) data indicated the percentage of calcium in egg shell. pH of soil and percentage …

Eggshells
Abstract: Eggshells which are very easily discarded as waste are very rich source of calcium. This calcium if utilized properly can turn out to be a boon rather than a waste material. The first step is collection of egg shells of different birds in ample quantity. These shells are then pretreated and then subjected to pulverization to obtain a fine egg powder. From this egg powder calcium extraction is carried out …

Biocomposite Using Cellulosic Waste Material and Eggshell for Its Application in the Reduction of Water Pollution
Abstract: This study explores the synthesis and application of a novel biocomposite derived from cellulosic waste material and eggshells for mitigating water pollution. Biocomposite production and application are notable breakthroughs in the replacement of nonbiodegradable, petroleum-based materials. Biowaste resulting from food processing has long been one of the most unutilized sources from which value-added products can be produced. Extracting valuable elements from it reduces trash disposal problems while also providing useful …

Description of the tapeworm Tetrabothrius Rudolphi, 1819 (Fam: Tetrabothriidae) in domestic chickens Gallus gallus domsticus
Abstract: The current study aimed to study the morphological characteristics of the tapeworm Tetrabothrius Rudolphi, 1819 by examining it using a light microscope. The present revision was accompanied in Najaf Governorate since January 4/10/2023 to December 1/12/2023. 10 tapeworms of Tetrabothrius sp. were insulated from the innards of 30 resident chickens Gallus gallus domesticus. The morphological features of the tapeworms were considered expending a sunlit optical microscope by tentative the bonce …

Variation in Persistent Organochlorine Pesticide Residues among Various Tissues of House Sparrow, Passer domesticus, from Tamil Nadu, India, during 2001–2006
Abstract: ABSTRACTThe present study focuses on persistent organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) on various tissues of house sparrow, Passer domesticus, from Tamil Nadu, India, between 2001 and 2006. The major compounds quantified in eggs, liver, brain and muscle tissues are hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH), 1,1-dichloro-2,2-bis(p-chlorophenyl)ethylene (p,p’-DDE), dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane (ΣDDT), dieldrin, and heptachlor epoxide. The mean concentrations of ΣPCBs, ΣHCH and ΣDDT in eggs are 0.94 ± 0.66 μg/g and 0.35 ± 0.26 μg/g respectively on wet …
