A New Optimal Biphase Pulse Compression Codes based on Cosine Mapping
Abstract: In proposed method a new optimization algorithm based on cosine mapping is introduced for radar pulse compression. The algorithm generate optimal chaotic biphase sequence having good autocorrelation and cross correlation properties. The sequence produces inherently small side lobes in autocorrelation function (ACF) of matched filter. Reduced values of side lobe level signify the optimal values of merit factor (MF) and peak side lobe level (PSL) and hence enhancement in radar …

Second Wave COVID-19 Predictions and Forecasting of Confirmed Cases in West Bengal Using ARIMA Model
Abstract: Infection and death rates surged drastically during the second wave of the COVID-19 (called delta variant) in India, owing to the destructive virus. As our country's economic load makes it more difficult to control the measures and it is critical for states such as West Bengal to forecast future cases. The present study introduced a time series forecasting model aimed at predicting and forecasting the number of confirmed and active …

Orthogonal Thirty-Two Phase Sequence Sets Design
Abstract: In using orthogonal signals, a multi-input, multi-output (MIMO) radar system and a spread spectrum communication system can improve operating efficiency. The usage of polyphase coded signals as pulse compression sequences sets is a superior alternative. The Modified Genetic Algorithm (MGA) is utilized as a global optimization strategy to create thirty-two phase sequence sets in this work. Design orthogonal thirty-two phase sequence sets with an impulse-like Autocorrelation Function (ACF) and a …

Statistical Exploration and Prediction of the Total Number of Daily Cases and Deaths of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Abstract: The study deals with novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) completed here in two parts. First, we discussed some epidemiological parameters and their comparative study among some highly affected countries. In the second, though random phenomena (like cases and deaths) are unpredictable we tried to find time series ARIMA model and to forecast the nationwide daily total cases and deaths using worldometer database. From January 22 to March 18, 2020, a total …
