Mechanical and Environmental Performance of Curaua Fiber Composites: A Sustainable Alternative to Wood and PVC
Abstract: This study examines the mechanical behavior of curaua fiber composites, comparing their performance to other materials like wood and PVC. Curaua fibers, sourced from the Brazilian Amazon, demonstrate superior mechanical properties, making them a promising alternative for sustainable composite materials. The composites were fabricated using various methods and subjected to tensile, flexural, and impact tests. Results show that curaua fibers exhibit an average tensile strength of 30.7 MPa, outperforming wood …

Captive Energy Generation by Using Gym Equipment
Abstract: This project aims to create a sustainable energy source by converting exercise equipment into devices capable of generating electrical power. Traditionally, the mechanical energy produced during workouts is wasted as it dissipates within exercise machines. This project aims to capture and convert that otherwise unused energy into usable electricity. By integrating an alternator-based system into fitness equipment, the mechanical motion generated by users during exercise can be transformed into electrical …

Exploratory Analysis of the Statistical Characteristics of Nuclear Fuel Cost Trends
Abstract: Nuclear power reactors of the current fleet mainly use uranium as the fissile fuel material. The economics of nuclear fuels are mainly governed by the prices of uranium. This work is an analysis of monthly uranium price data available from public data sources, covering the time frame from January 1990 to April 2025. In the near term, from 2021 to 2024, monthly uranium spot prices have been between $ 35.28±6.64/lb …

Study of Multiple Modules Solar System Electricity Generation
Abstract: Solar energy is a sustainable, non-depleting, and ecologically safe energy source that originates from sunlight. Every hour, the globe receives enough solar energy to meet its energy demands for a whole year. In the current world, we need power on a regular basis. This solar energy is used in commercial, residential, and industrial settings. It readily absorbs energy from direct sunlight. In this post, we looked at solar energy from …
