Polymeric Coating Applied for Corrosion Protection of Mild Steel in Corrosive Medium
Abstract: Mild steel is coated with a polymer layer of polybutadiene for protection. However, this coating does not effectively safeguard the metal in environments containing moisture, sulphur dioxide, or chloride. These pollutants interact with the polybutadiene-coated surface, creating a highly corrosive atmosphere. Moisture condenses on the coated metal surface and absorbs sulphur dioxide, forming sulphuric acid. This acid initiates both chemical and electrochemical reactions with the polymer-coated metal, accelerating the corrosion …

Heat Treatment Research Studies of EN9 Carbon Steel by Quenching Operation in Different Quenching Media
Abstract: In this experimental research, EN9 type of steels is selected to process the heat treatment by quenching to increase the hardenability of a material. EN9 steel is cut into small work samples with diameter 25mm and length 15mm to analyze. Then they are polished the cut surface in a fine manner. Microstructure and hardness are to be found for EN9 work pieces before heat treatment at different locations like at …

Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis Using a Hybrid Approach with Dependency Parsing
Abstract: The rapid expansion of digital communication has resulted in an unprecedented volume of consumer-generated textual data across online reviews, social media platforms, forums, and e-commerce websites. Extracting meaningful insights from this data is increasingly important for organizations seeking to understand customer opinions, preferences, and behavioral trends. Despite significant advances in sentiment analysis, many existing approaches primarily focus on surface-level features and often overlook deeper syntactic and semantic relationships within text. …

In Silico Exploration of Podophyllum Hexandrum-Derived Phytocompounds as Potential Therapeutics Against Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC): A Molecular Docking Approach
Abstract: Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) is a fast-growing and aggressive type of lung cancer that spreads quickly strongly associated with smoking. It is characterized by symptoms, such as persistent cough, breathing difficulties, or hoarseness, though it can sometimes be asymptomatic which makes early detection challenging. The tumor suppressor gene TP53 is critical in regulating the cell cycle and preventing uncontrolled cell division. Mutations in TP53 result in the loss of …

Vitamin D Mitigates Inflammation and Downregulates Importin α3 in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD)
Abstract: Background: Pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and IL-8, seem to play a crucial role in the progression of NAFLD as they activate the transcription factor NF-кB. The activated NF-кBp50/RelA subunits are translocated to the nucleus by Importin α3 and Importin α4. Numerous studies have indicated a negative association between NAFLD and vitamin D levels. Low vitamin D levels have been correlated with histological severity, necro-inflammation, and fibrosis in …
