Nonlinear Dynamics of MEMS Resonator with Squeeze-film Damping
Abstract: This paper presents nonlinear dynamic analysis of electro-statically actuated micro-resonator under squeeze-film damping conditions. By considering a single degree-of-freedom oscillator model of resonator with squeeze-film damping effects, nonlinear phenomena are investigated. Numerical studies are conducted using phase portrait and Poincare map over a range of AC voltage amplitudes to predict the dynamic pull-in state. The effects of AC harmonic frequency and ambient pressure on beam dynamics have also been studied. …

Probabilistic Analysis of Fatigue Life of Polymer Concrete
Abstract: In this paper, probabilistic analysis of fatigue life of polymer concrete has been carried out with the intent to study its fatigue-life distributions using Weibull distribution. Three-point flexural fatigue tests were conducted on polymer concrete specimens of size 40 × 40 × 160 mm using MTS Servo-controlled actuator to obtain the fatigue lives at different stress levels. It has been observed that the probabilistic distribution of fatigue life of polymer …

Fabrication and Parametric Analysis of Thermal Sensing Dielectric PZT Thick Film Nano Ceramic Device Developed by SOL GEL Technique
Abstract: AbstractExtensive investigation carried out during earlier half of twentieth century, prominently established that the ionic radius of an atom gets reduced to significant levels with decrease in coordination number. The findings of Goldsmith and Pauling showed that ionic radii contracts by 4, 6 and 12% when coordination number is reduced from 12 to 8, 6 and 4 respectively. It is obvious that coordination number reduction takes place at the surface …
