Kinetic Analysis of Structural Acrylic Curing by DSC: Polymerization and Phase Transition Optimization
Abstract: Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) was used to analyse the thermal properties and curing behaviour of a structural acrylic adhesive at heating rates of 5, 10, and 15 °C/min. The study focused on the curing kinetics, glass transition temperature (Tg), specific rate (k), and activation energy (Ea) of the polymerization reaction. The material is tested according to ASTM 3418 standards. Results showed that increasing the heating rate shifted the endothermic curing …

Blockchain Enabled IoT System for Tamper Proof Monitoring of Polymer Composite Manufacturing Quality
Abstract: Ensuring real-time process compliance in resin-based polymer composite manufacturing remains a persistent challenge due to non-linear material behaviors, unpredictable curing dynamics, and fragmented sensor data pipelines. Traditional centralized monitoring architectures struggle to guarantee data integrity, auditability, and adaptive response under high-frequency environmental fluctuations. Most existing frameworks fall short in unifying trust, traceability, and time-critical decision-making particularly during critical cure-phase deviations due to limited integration of blockchain with intelligent sensor systems. …

Synthesis and Characterization of Graphene-Based Hydroxyapatite Using Hydrothermal Method for Its Biomedical Application
Abstract: Developing bone implant materials that combine biological compatibility with mechanical strength remains a major challenge in orthopedic research. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) closely mimics bone mineral and supports cell growth, but its brittleness limits load-bearing applications. To address this, a quaternary nanocomposite of hydroxyapatite (HAp), graphene (Gr), zirconia (ZrO2), and ferrocene (Fc) (Hap-Gr-ZrO₂-Fc) was synthesized through a one-step hydrothermal process. Graphene and zirconia provided reinforcement, while ferrocene contributed structural stability and carbon …

Rising Temperatures and Surface Mass Loss in Greenland: Implications for Regional Glacier Dynamics and Global Sea Level Rise
Abstract: In Greenland, the ice sheet serves as one of the strongest indicators of global climate change, with consistently rising temperatures driving it toward an even more negative mass balance. Over the last two decades, warmer conditions have exacerbated surface melting, darkened ice, and resulted in feedback stimulating further loss. This study assesses how those temperature trends—particularly during summer peak months—have impacted the stability of Greenland's ice, and then, more importantly, …
