Growth, Optical, Mechanical and Electrical Properties of Zinc Sulphate Admixtured N-N’-dimethylurea Single Crystals (DMUZS)
Abstract: AbstractThe single crystals of zinc sulphate admixtured N-N’-dimethylurea (DMUZS) were grown by slow evaporation technique from aqueous solution at room temperature. Good quality crystals of size 16×12×5 mm3 had been obtained after 35 days. The grown crystals were characterized by single crystal XRD analysis to determine the lattice constant of the sample. Powder X-ray diffraction studies confirm the crystalline nature of the grown crystal. Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) studies were …

Preparation and characterization of High-performance ZnO/PVB Nanocomposite films for UV-shielding and Optoelectronics
Abstract: Zinc oxide nanoparticles can be incorporated into polymer matrices to create materials for various high-performance engineering applications. In this study, zinc oxide nanoparticles were reinforced at different loadings (0.5, 1.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 wt.%) in polyvinyl butyral matrix to synthesize nanocomposite films using the solution casting method. The impact of zinc oxide nanofiller on the morphology and ultraviolet-shielding performance of polyvinyl butyral nanocomposite films was evaluated using various …

SnO2 Nanoparticles: Preparation, Characterization and Humidity Sensor Application
Abstract: The microwave-assisted synthesis method is used to prepare SnO2 nanoparticles for the application of humidity sensor, because of oxygen vacancy in the lattice. Microwave-assisted method is very simple, low cost and rapid heating method. Room temperature ionic liquids and tin source were used in the reaction as precursors. The obtained SnO2 nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffractometer, particle size analyser, Fourier transform infrared spectroscope, and thermo gravimetric-differential thermal analyser. The …

Bioscouring And Anionization of Waste Cotton Fabric for Efficient Removal of Malachite Green Dye
Abstract: Adsorption is an efficient method for dye removal but the high cost of adsorbents limits its use, emphasizing the need for sustainable, low-cost alternatives. This study explores the usage of modified cotton fabric for the treatment of malachite green (cationic dye) from wastewater. Cellulase extracted from Raphanus sativus and Daucus carota were evaluated for bioscouring potential which was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy. Further, cotton fabric was chemically modified using …

Design and Evaluation Cefaclor Microspheres for Bioavailability Enhancement
Abstract: This study attempted to formulate microspheres for oral administration of Cefaclor by using different polymers like Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) K4M, (HPMC) K15M and Ethylcellulose (EC) which increases the gastric residence time and thereby the bioavailability. Solvent evaporation method was found to be the best due to its ease of fabrication without compromising the activity of the drug. Cefaclor is a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat certain ear, lung, skin, …
