Performance of Equation-of-State for Hydrocarbon Dew Point Control in Gas Flow-line in a Nigerian Field
Abstract: Associated gas in a flow-line in a Nigerian field was suspected to be accountable for unaccounted-for gas in the flow-station. Gas molecular compositions of Low Pressure suction gas and Injection Discharge gas for operating conditions of pressure and temperature from the field were analysed by the use of Soave-Redlich Kwong and Peng-Robinson Equations of State with PVTp thermodynamic software. Internal Resorption in the Dentin-Pulpal Complex: An Etiological Link to the Metabolic Acidosis of Diabetes
Abstract: The etiology of internal resorption is not by bacteria or caries but most likely initiated from chronic pulpal inflammation (i.e., chronic pulpitis) following intrusive injury to the dental pulp by one or more of the following means: (1) Traumatic injury (i.e., the most likely etiology) which often involves the oral cavity and teeth. (2) Chemical injury may be by elevated dose fluoride use or from caustic products used in bleaching. …

Evaluating the Influence of Temperature on the Efficacy of Capparis Decidua Extract as a Corrosion Inhibitor for Aluminium in Acidic Media
Abstract: The study investigates the anti-corrosive properties of the ethanolic extract of Capparis decidua fruit on aluminum corrosion in a 2N HCl acid solution, using a weight loss technique at temperatures ranging from 303 to 343 K. At a concentration of 0.45%, the inhibition efficiency (η%) is notably high, reaching 63.15% at 303 K. The inhibitor's adsorption behavior on the aluminum surface is consistent with the Langmuir adsorption isotherm, suggesting that …

Mechanisms of Crystal Growth: From Spiral Steps to Surface Adhesion
Abstract: Crystal growth is a complex interplay between thermodynamic stability and kinetic processes, influenced heavily by the conditions under which crystallization occurs—particularly the degree of supersaturation. This abstract outline three principal regimes of solution-grown crystal growth: defect-driven, two-dimensional, and adhesive growth. At low supersaturation, growth is facilitated at surface defects, such as screw dislocations, where energy barriers to attachment are minimized. This results in the formation of spiraling steps that propagate …

Estimation of Soil Erosion Using GIS in Pune District, Maharashtra
Abstract: The Varandha Ghats pans approximately 14.62 km 2 , where changes in temperature, vegetation, topography, and soil characteristics are causing continuous soil erosion. Catchment heterogeneity and climatic variations cause spatial variability in hydrological processes. Differences in land use, soil type, topography, and rainfall patterns influence how water moves and accumulates across regions, resulting in diverse hydrological responses. This complexity challenges accurate modeling and effective water resource management strategies across variable …

Review and Opportunities for Thermal examination approaches Used to Investigate the Thermal Properties of Composite Compounds
Abstract: The use of thermal examination approach to assess the thermal quality of energy materials in “China” is concisely described. They are often used to calculate thermal stability, compatibility, and thermophysical constants, as well as to study thermal breakdown kinetics, causes, and interactions. Furthermore, a few studies focused on creativity or advancement, such as analyzing the mechanisms of topochemical reactions, assessing condensed-phase reaction kinetics by tracking the change in functional groups …

Climate Change and Air Pollution Dynamics: Synergistic Effects and Mitigation Strategies
Abstract: Climate change and air pollution are deeply interlinked environmental problems that jointly exacerbate human health, ecosystem integrity, and economic well‑being. As global temperatures rise, shifts in meteorological conditions—such as increased heat, altered precipitation, and more frequent extreme weather events—modify pollutant generation, dispersion, chemical transformation, and removal processes. Meanwhile, many sources of air pollution are also sources of greenhouse gases (GHGs), giving rise to potential co‑benefits or trade‑offs when formulating mitigation …

Persistent Atmospheric and Ecosystem Impacts of Enteric Methane Emissions from Intensive Livestock Production Systems
Abstract: Enteric methane emissions from intensive livestock production systems exert a significant long-lasting influence on atmospheric stability and ecosystem integrity. Recent observations confirm that global methane emissions continued to rise through the early 2020s, with total emissions exceeding 620 teragrams per year by 2024, driven by expanding ruminant production and associated feed systems. Anthropogenic sources accounted for more than 330 teragrams per year, reflecting sustained growth in agricultural and fossil fuel …

The Effect of Dynamics and Mass Transfer Limitation on the Kinetic Growth Rate of Methane Gas Hydrates
Abstract: Hydrate management aims to prevent impediments to fluid flow in pipes caused by hydrate deposition. To achieve this goal effectively, a comprehensive understanding of the thermodynamics and kinetics of hydrate formation is essential for predicting their equilibrium conditions, quantifying the amount of deposition, and estimating the associated risk. Hydrate growth studies are a relatively new field, and independent laboratory experiments have shown that hydrate growth is controlled by heat transfer, …

Unification and DC Conductivity of PDMS/NiNPs Nanocomposite
Abstract: The DC conductivity of nickel nanoparticles–polydimethylsiloxane (NiNPs–PDMS) composite materials has attracted considerable attention due to their promising applications in flexible electronics, sensors, and energy storage devices. The electrical performance of these composites is largely governed by the formation of conductive networks within the insulating polymer matrix. Incorporating nickel nanoparticles into PDMS introduces conductive pathways that significantly enhance DC conductivity once a critical percolation threshold is reached.Several key factors influence the …

Development of Polymersomes as Macromolecular Platforms for Nanomedicine
Abstract: The conventional method of drug delivery is plagued with instability, low targeting and low bioavailability. A solution to these shortcomings is the use of polymersomes, artificial vesicles that are produced through self-assembly of amphiphilic block copolymer, and they are suggested as universal nanoscale carriers. They have stiff, tunable membranes (thickness = 2–50 nm) due to accurate control of polymer chemistry, chain length, and hydrophilic mass fraction (f), which allows predictability …

Injection Pressure Optimization for Non-edible Biodiesel Blends in CRDI Engines: A Comparative Study
Abstract: The growing demand for clean and sustainable energy has increased interest in biodiesel produced from non-edible oil sources. These fuels are renewable, biodegradable, and do not compete with food resources. However, the effective use of biodiesel blends in modern diesel engines requires proper control of fuel injection parameters, particularly injection pressure. In common rail direct injection (CRDI) engines, injection pressure strongly influences spray formation, air–fuel mixing, combustion behaviour, and exhaust …
