Synthesis and Characterization of Ether Containing Tetraglycidyl Epoxy Reinforced with Amine Functionalized Graphene Oxide (F-Go) and It’s Nanocomposites
Abstract: AbstractTGDDE matrix material along with functionalized graphene oxide (F-GO) as reinforcement was used to develop a unique skeletally modified tetra functional epoxy nanocomposites. Amine functionalization of graphene oxide nanoparticles (F-GO) on its surface was achieved by grafting 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) as coupling agent. The FT-IR spectrum revealed that the silane coupling agent was covalently bonded to the surface of graphene oxide nanoparticles, offering better dispersibility and compatibility with TGDDE epoxy matrix. …

Thermo-Mechanical Properties of Unsaturated Polyester Reinforced with Coconut and Snail Shells
Abstract: AbstractParticulate-filled polymer composites are becoming quite attractive because of their low cost and wide applications. In this study, the effects of coconut shell (CS) and snail shell (SS) volume fractions (5–50 vol. %) on the thermal and mechanical properties of unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) composite are investigated. The results show that tensile strength, elongation at break, flexural strength, and hardness of the composite increase as filler concentration increases. However, impact …

Compressive and Tensile Behavior of Lime Added Geopolymer Concrete.
Abstract: Concrete is the most used material, which required large quantities of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). OPC production is held responsible for some of the CO2 emissions, which polluted the atmosphere. Hence, it is inevitable to find an alternative material to OPC. Geopolymer concrete is a best alternative which shall be produced by the chemical action of inorganic molecules. This paper focuses fly-ash based Geopolymer concrete with addition of lime. In …

Development of sustainable GGBS and FLYASH based Geo-polymer Concrete
Abstract: Construction has been most important human activity since ancient time. Concrete is widely used and trustworthy material for construction. Some of challenges in industry are global warming and insufficiency of construction material. One of the methods for replacing concrete constituents is the use of geo-polymer which helps in using very less quantity of cement in concrete. This project represents study on the mechanical properties of geopolymer concrete with various mixes. …

Durability Study of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete using Pumice Aggregate as Replacement of Coarse Aggregate
Abstract: Lightweight concrete has less dead load as compared to the normal concrete. Most of the buildings are made in India using light weight aggregate/materials. In this experimental work, we need to focus on the light weight concrete using pumice aggregate and assessment of the result of compressive strength and reduction in dead load of the concrete. Four concrete mixes of M1, M2, M3 and M4 were prepared with the different …

A Case Study on the Ayurvedic Management of Ulcerative Colitis (Grahani)
Abstract: Ulcerative Colitis is an idiopathic form of acute and chronic ulcero-inflammmatory colitis affecting chiefly the mucosa and submucosa of the rectum and descending colon, though sometimes it may involve the entire large intestine. Symptoms usually develop over time, rather than suddenly. Ulcerative colitis can be debilitating and can sometimes lead to life-threatening complications. While it has no known cure, treatment can greatly reduce signs and symptoms of the disease and …
