Disease Resistant Plants: a Review
Abstract: Modern agriculture provides sufficient nutrients to feed the world’s growing population, which is expected to increase from 7.3 billion in 2015 to at least 9.8 billion by 2050. The disease-resistant plants were made to reduce crop loss caused by diseases. Disease-resistant plants offer an effective, safe, and also an inexpensive method to control many diseases. Most of the commercial varieties of crops are resistant to several pathogens. Resistant or immune …

Meta-analysis: An Innovative Tool for Estimating Prevalence of Livestock Diseases
Abstract: AbstractLivestock diseases causes economic loss to the dairy farmers and also affects the productivity of dairy animals. There were no data on prevalence of particular diseases of livestock at state or country level. The prevalence of livestock diseases was required for prioritizing the livestock diseases for taking preventive and control measures with available scarce resources. Meta-analysis is a statistical tool used to combine various studies and estimate the prevalence of …

Review an analysis of Fluid Flow and its Dynamics Study
Abstract: Fluid dynamics is the study of liquid and gas flow, usually on and near solid surfaces. For instance, airflow over an aeroplane wing or over the surface of an automobile can be studied using fluid dynamics. Additionally, it can be utilised in ship design to speed up how quickly they move through water. To understand fluid dynamics, scientists employ both mathematical models and simulations as well as experiments. In a confined …

The Alarming Impact of Microplastics on the Reproductive System of Fish
Abstract: Environmental contaminants that are biologically active significantly affect ecosystems, animals, and human health. Plastic pollution has drawn international attention for its detrimental effect on the environment and biodiversity health. The aquatic ecology of our planet is full of microplastics. Regular, extensive use of nonbiodegradable polymers required several years for them to break down. Over the course of those years, it discharged tiny particles of 100 nm or less. Due to …

Evaluation of the anti diabetic effects of ethanolic root extract from polyalthania longifora in diabetic rats induced by streptozotin and nicotinamide with considaertion of toxocological aspects
Abstract: The root of Polialthia Longifolia was selected for the evaluation of antidiabetic potential in STZ-nicotinamide induced diabetic rat model. The root extract was extracted by hot percolation using ethanol as a solvent in soxhlet apparatus and the preliminary phytochemical screening was performed and it shows that the ethanolic root extract of Polialthia Longifolia contains alkaloids, glycosides, flavonoids and tannins. Safety profile is essential for the drugs obtained from the plant origin. …

Optimizing the removal of Chromium from aqueous solution by adsorption using sugarcane bagasse
Abstract: In Ethiopian tannery and textile industries, chromium concentration before treatment ranges from 1000 ppm to 5000 ppm. From this concentration about 95 % of chromium exists in the form of Cr (III), which was toxic when its concentration exceeded 5 ppm and oxidized in to Cr (VI). This chromium was disposed to environment with effluent in the form of chromium III and chromium VI was highly toxic to humans, animals …

Safety of Ayurvedic Metal Origin Bhasma (Dhatu varga) through Acute Toxicity Studies: A Review
Abstract: Bhasma possess broad-spectrum therapeutic utility but are blamed due to frequently raising toxicity concerns. Although their safety has been evident with practice since ancient times, scientifically proven through toxicity studies, clinical safety, still comprehensive conclusive documentation is needed. Online published research articles on in vivo, oral single dose, acute toxicity studies on Bhasma of Dhatu Varga were searched through search engines and observations on behavioural, ponderal, autopsy, maximum tolerated dose …

Improvement of Motor and Sensory–Motor Behaviors after the Human Amniotic Epithelial Cells Transplantation in 6-OHDA Lesioned Corpus Striatum of Wistar Albino Rats
Abstract: Deficits in apomorphine-induced rotation and rotarod in rat have been proposed as a nondrug-induced model of the akinesia associated with the Parkinson’s disease. In the present study, we examined the disabilities in the rotarod and apomorphine-induced rotations have been observed after the 6-hydroxydopamine-induced denervation in the striatum. These impaired activities have reversed after the Human Amniotic Epithelial (HAE) cells transplantation during long-term observation. The neuronal densities and diameter were reduced …
