Graphene Based Electronic Skin for Wearable Health Monitoring and Human– review on Machine Interaction, Materials, Structures and AI Integration
Abstract: Graphene-based electronic skin (e-skin) has emerged as a transformative technology for next-generation wearable health monitoring and advanced human–machine interaction (HMI). Owing to its outstanding electrical conductivity, mechanical flexibility, atomic-scale thickness, and biocompatibility, graphene enables the fabrication of ultrathin, conformal, and multifunctional sensors capable of mimicking the sensory functions of natural human skin. Over the past decade, research in this domain has progressed rapidly across four interconnected fronts: material synthesis and …

Drug Resistance in Targeted Cancer Treatment: Clinical Difficulties, Molecular Mechanisms, and Emerging Strategies
Abstract: Targeted cancer therapy, which selectively inhibits the molecular mechanisms responsible for tumor growth and development, has revolutionized modern oncology. Targeted therapies have lower systemic toxicity and better therapeutic efficacy when compared to traditional chemotherapy. However, the emergence of medication resistance often limits the long-term efficacy of these treatments, ultimately resulting in treatment failure and disease progression. Drug resistance develops through a number of intricate biological processes and can be innate …

Joint Estimation of CSI and IQ Imbalance, and Compensation of IQ Imbalance in Spatialy Multiplexed MIMO-OFDM Receivers
Abstract: This study presents a novel method for estimating Channel State Information (CSI) and IQ imbalance and compensating IQ imbalance in a spatially multiplexed MIMO OFDM receiver. Our approach integrates estimation of IQ imbalance with CSI estimation using an OFDM training frame, thus eliminating the need for additional pilot symbols for IQ imbalance estimation. This technique streamlines the process and avoids extra overhead. We conducted simulations on a 2×2 spatially multiplexed …

Non-Invasive Glucose Monitoring Device Using Max30102 Sensor
Abstract: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder affecting millions globally, requiring continuous blood glucose monitoring to prevent complications such as cardiovascular disease, kidney failure, neuropathy, and retinopathy. Conventional invasive finger- prick techniques result in pain, skin irritation, and an increased risk of infection, which lowers patient compliance, particularly in young patients and the elderly. This paper presents a non-invasive glucose monitoring prototype using the MAX30102 optical biosensor interfaced with the …

Review And Analysis of Application of Conductive Polymer Composites in Power-Efficient RF Circuits For 5G PAPR Reduction
Abstract: The need for low power RF circuits has gained more importance in the background of fifth-generation (5G) wireless communication systems, since the inherent PAPR characteristic of 5G signals—especially when using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based techniques—becomes high. This high PAPR limits the efficiency of RF power amplifiers, increases power consumption, and induces thermal management challenges. In this context, conductive polymer composites (CPCs), based on advanced polymer matrices integrated with …

Green AI-Enabled Opto-Electronic Communication Systems for Carbon-Neutral Digital Networks
Abstract: The rapid expansion of digital communication infrastructure, driven by cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), 6G networks, and artificial intelligence applications, has significantly increased the energy consumption and carbon footprint of modern communication systems. Conventional optical communication networks often rely on static resource allocation and energy-intensive signal processing mechanisms, resulting in inefficient utilization of network resources and elevated operational costs. This study proposes a Green Artificial Intelligence (Green AI)-Enabled Opto-Electronic …

AI-Based Intelligent Traffic Signal Management System: A Review
Abstract: Traffic congestion is a growing problem in urban areas worldwide, leading to economic losses, increased pollution, and commuter frustration. Traditional traffic management systems rely on fixed timing cycles and lack adaptability to real-time traffic conditions. Intelligent traffic light control systems based on artificial intelligence (AI) have become a viable substitute for traditional techniques. These systems are able to evaluate large volumes of traffic data in real time, identify patterns, and …

Gold Nanoparticle Size, Biodistribution, and Toxicity: Insights from DualEnergy CT
Abstract: Dual-energy and spectral computed tomography (CT) have emerged as powerful platforms for noninvasive, quantitative mapping of nanoparticle biodistribution in vivo. By exploiting the energy-dependent attenuation profiles of high-atomic-number (high-Z) materials, these systems enable material decomposition and element-specific imaging, thereby distinguishing nanoparticle signals from those of soft tissues and conventional iodinated contrast agents. Photon-counting spectral CT further enhances this capability by binning individual photons into multiple energy channels, improving spatial resolution, …
