Randomized Latent Vectors for Enhanced Reinforcement Learning Exploration
Abstract: This paper investigates Random Latent Exploration (RLE), a novel reinforcement learning technique that enhances exploration using randomized latent vector conditioning. I evaluate RLE’s performance across various environments, including discrete control tasks (FourRoom), continuous control (IsaacLab), and complex visual domains (Atari games). The core approach augments traditional reward functions with intrinsic rewards, calculated as the dot product between state features and periodically resampled latent vectors. The policy and value networks are …

Semiconductor Devices for Assessing Freshness of Food Products
Abstract: Freshness of food is one of the major deterministic factors that govern human health and wellbeing. Consumption of stale food can have minor to serious health implications. In general assessment of the quality of food relies upon human sensory evaluations. However, the perceived intensity of sensory attributes can vary significantly. To replace this confusion, scientists develop portable and inexpensive sensors with notable accuracy. In particular, dairy products, seafood and meat …

Ecological and Biomonitoring Studies of Freshwater with Reference to Selected Phytoplankton Species of Manar Reservoir, Maharashtra
Abstract: Freshwater reservoirs play a crucial role in supporting domestic, agricultural, and fisheries requirements, particularly in semi-arid regions of Maharashtra. Rivers and the surface water are important sources of drinking and several other usages. Aquatic ecosystems are vital in the supply of nutritious food and food source supplementation. Therefore, we selected to study the role of plankton within the aquatic ecosystem systematically here. Plankton are very small organisms; they are of …

Polymer Use in Soilless Farming Systems with A Comparative Study on Hydroponics and Aquaponics
Abstract: Hydroponics and aquaponics are innovative, sustainable agricultural methods that achieve high productivity with minimal land and water usage in controlled environments. Hydroponics, a technique that involves growing plants in nutrient-rich water solutions, utilizes various polymer-based components. Aquaponics, a symbiotic system combining aquaculture and hydroponics, also relies on polymer-based materials. These soilless techniques are crucial for producing vegetables, fruits, and other crops without relying on soil, allowing adaptability across various locations. …

Assessment of Traders’ Practice of Prevention of Mycotoxin Contamination in Markets in Federal Capital Territorial, Abuja
Abstract: This study assessedtraders’ practice of prevention of mycotoxin contamination in markets in Federal Capital Territorial, Abuja. Two research questions, two research objective and two hypotheses guided the study. This adopted causal comparative (Ex-Post-factor) design. The population for this study comprises all traders in major market in Abuja, which includes Wuse market, Garki international market, Utako ultra-modern market, Kado fish market, Karmo market, Gudu market, and Maitama farmers’ market, the estimated …
