Analysis of the Current Chopping and Breaker Stresses in Electric Power Networks
Abstract: This paper addresses the phenomenon of current chopping in electric power networks and the resulting circuit breaker transient recovery voltage. Its dependence on the pre-interruption loading conditions and the data of the power network is demonstrated.
