Abstract: A straightforward and cost-effective method was employed to synthesize zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures supported on tin oxide (SnO₂) for catalytic applications. This hybrid nanocomposite, formed by integrating ZnO with SnO₂, exhibited impressive catalytic activity in the reduction of various nitro compounds. The synergistic interaction between ZnO and SnO₂ significantly enhanced the surface area and active sites of the catalyst, thereby improving its overall efficiency.
