Wet Multi Plate Clutch Failure: A Review
Abstract: To create a successful design that satisfies modern demands, the traditional theoretical method of computing temperature area, in particular the maximum temperature considered inside the surfaces of the friction take hold of disc best during the single engagement, is used. The entire engagement time was 5s, although the temperature fields were calculated during 6 consecutive engagements. In order to calculate the heat conductivity of the friction grasp machine, a three-dimensional …

Structural, Optical, Surface, and Gas-Sensing Properties of rGO/Sn1–xZnxO₂ Nanocomposites
Abstract: rGO/Sn₁–ₓZnₓO₂ nanocomposites with x = 0.00–0.75 were synthesized by sol–gel auto-combustion followed by wet impregnation with reduced graphene oxide. The adopted synthesis route enabled homogeneous Zn incorporation into the SnO₂ matrix and uniform distribution of rGO, leading to improved structural integrity and interfacial contact between the two components. XRD confirmed a dominant tetragonal cassiterite SnO₂ structure, while FTIR, FESEM, EDS, UV–visible, and BET analyses verified oxide–rGO coupling, Zn-dependent structural modification, …

Experimental Analysis of Wear Characteristics in Natural Fibre Composite Materials
Abstract: In mechanical systems, energy loss and material degradation due to attrition are frequently the consequences of sliding contacts, which frequently lead to premature system failure. In this study, at 50°C, 80°C, and 110°C, the hardness was tested; the results showed that the values were 350.7, 422.5, and 455.5 HV, respectively. After conducting a high-temperature wear test, the mass loss of the as-deposited composite coatings was assessed by an electrochemical approach …

Mountaineer’s Health and GPS Tracking System
Abstract: Mountaineering is always a fun and adventurous activity. But mountaineering comes with a lot of risks. Mountain climbers have heavy chances of mishaps. Search and rescue efforts frequently fail when a similar tragedy takes place in a rural area or at a high elevation. As a result, the search and rescue team is ignorant of the accident's location or whether or not the individual is alive and, if so, what …

Sensor Technologies in Robotics: A Review of Vision, Tactile, and Proximity Sensing Systems
Abstract: Robotics has undergone remarkable advancements in recent decades, largely driven by the integration of cutting-edge sensor technologies. Sensors serve as crucial for allowing robots to precisely logic, interpret, and react to the world around them. Among the most essential sensor types used in robotics are vision sensors, tactile sensors, and proximity sensors. These technologies strengthen a robot’s capacity for successful navigation, for example, object manipulation, and contact with people and …

Removal of Chloride from Ground Water Using Natural Adsorbent: Water Hyacinth
Abstract: Groundwater contaminants in rural areas often include chlorides and hardness. Nowadays, due to water scarcity, there is a need to utilize groundwater for construction purposes. According to IS 456:2000, the chloride content in water used for mixing and curing concrete must not exceed 2000 mg/l for plain concrete and 500 mg/l for reinforced concrete work. An excess amount of chloride in water causes the deterioration of structures. Concrete durability and …

Health Impact due to Pollution from the Fine Chemical Manufacturing Industries Operating at Gove Industrial Belt of Bhiwandi (Maharashtra)
Abstract: The present study performed to understand the toxicity level of heavy metals like Zn+2, Ni+2, Cu+2, Cr+6, Fe+3, which are present in the industrial effluents released from fine chemical industries situated at Gove industrial belt, Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. The concentration level of Zn2+ in the present study was found to be 26.35 ppm which was above the limits of 5.0 ppm set by CPCB in industrial wastewater discharge. Such high Zn2+ …

AUTOMATED FAULT IDENTIFICATION AND TRACKING IN POWER TRANSMISSION NETWORKS USING GPS
Abstract: Power transmission lines are vulnerable to faults caused by environmental factors, aging infrastructure, and external disturbances such as falling trees or animal contact. Prompt and accurate detection and location of these faults are essential to ensure uninterrupted power delivery, reduce equipment damage, and minimize downtime. This project presents an automatic fault detection and location system using GPS technology integrated with a microcontroller-based sensing module. The proposed system continuously monitors voltage …

Effect of Bone Marrow Derived Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation on Cerebral Metabolism of a 20-year-old Autistic Patient
Abstract: Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by clinically significant impairment in social, occupational and other important areas of normal functioning. The autistic brain shows altered neurochemical metabolism, such as decreased glucose uptake, increased concentrations of lactate and reduced concentrations of N-acetyl-aspartate. Besides behavioral therapies and medications for autism-associated conditions such as seizures and gastrointestinal distress, there are no U.S. FDA approved pharmacological therapies to treat Autism’s core pathology. Stem cell …

Friction and Wear Response of CottonSeed Oils and Esterified CottonSeed Oil and their Blends with Mineral Engine Oil in a Reciprocating Sliding Contact at Severe Contact Conditions
Abstract: Many studies investigating the tribological performance of pure cottonseed and other bio-based oils have been conducted; a better understanding of vegetable oil tribologicalperformance at extreme conditions is still required. Little work has been carried out to studythe effect of vegetable oils on the performance of a lubricant formed from a blend ofcottonseed oil and conventional mineral engine oil. This work presents the tribologicalperformance of esterified cottonseed oil, and their blends …

Mothers Practice and Associated Factors on Kangaroo Mother Care, in Mekelle City Hospitals Tigray, North Ethiopia: A Cross-Sectional Survey
Abstract: Kangaroo mother care (KMC) is a special way of holding low birth weight, preterm and hypothermic babies with skin-to-skin contact between the mother and the newborn in a position like a kangaroo. Most neonatal units in the world do not has appropriate space and material to offer a comfort to mothers providing a continuous KMC. In Ethiopia, KMC has not expanded as broadly as we hoped. To assess the practice …

Review on Persistent Threat of Monkeypox
Abstract: Monkeypox virus (at this instant notorious as MPXV, the virus that sources the lately rechristened infection monkeypox) was learned at Denmark’s State Serum Organization in 1958, which is closely like smallpox. For the next 50 years, monkeypox was primarily confined to tiny, sporadic epidemics in western and central Africa. These epidemics were primarily caused by spillover episodes, in which the virus sprang through a host animal to a human, followed …
