An Evaluationof Different Types Soil Stabilization Techniques
Abstract: Soil stabilization is the procedure of improving the shear strength parameters of soil and so increasing the bearing capability of land.It is needed when the territory available for construction is not suited to carry structural load. Soils exhibit generally undesirable engineering properties. Soil Stabilization is the modification of soils to raise their physical attributes.Stabilization can increase the shear intensity of a territory and/or control the shrink-swell properties of a stain, …

Immune Dysregulation and Cytokine Circuitry in Genital Endometriosis: Mechanistic Insights and Next-Generation Immunotherapeutic Strategies
Abstract: Genital endometriosis is increasingly recognized as an immune-mediated inflammatory disorder driven by complex interactions between dysregulated immune cells, cytokine hubs, and microbiome-derived modulators. This review introduces a novel “immune–cytokine circuitry” framework that unifies innate and adaptive immune abnormalities with key cytokine loops sustaining chronic inflammation, angiogenesis, neuroinflammation, and immune tolerance. Within this circuitry, macrophage polarization, dendritic cell immaturity, NK-cell anergy, Treg expansion, Th17 amplification, and B-cell–mediated autoimmunity converge to establish …

The Concept of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) in Unani Medicine and the Potential Role of Unani Pharmacology in Its Management
Abstract: Introduction: Guillain–Barré Syndrome (GBS) is an autoimmune neurological disorder characterized by progressive muscle weakness and paralysis due to immune-mediated damage to the peripheral nervous system. Conventional treatments focus on immunotherapy and supportive care, but alternative approaches, such as Unani Medicine offer promising holistic management strategies. Unani Medicine attributes GBS to humoral imbalance, particularly an excess of Balgham (Phlegm) affecting nerve function, leading to weakness and dysfunction. Objective: This study aims …

The Pioneers of Greek Medicine: Exploring the Classical Period and Influential Scholars
Abstract: Greek Medicine, an ancient medical system, emphasized holistic approaches, balance, and the interconnectedness of the body and environment. Its contributions to anatomy, pathology, pharmacology, and preventive care continue to shape Modern Medicine. This medical system thrived from around the 5th century BCE until the advent of modern medicine. Greek physicians, such as Hippocrates, Galen and Dioscorides, revolutionized the understanding of the Human Body, Disease, and therapeutic interventions. Central to the …

Assessing the Robustness of Machine Learning Models for Wireless Intrusion Detection Under Adversarial Traffic Perturbations
Abstract: As the Internet of Things (IoT) devices and wireless communication networks continue to grow rapidly, protecting systems from cyber threats has become increasingly important. Machine learning–based intrusion detection systems (IDS) have shown strong potential in detecting abnormal and malicious network activities, yet their effectiveness and resilience when facing adversarial attacks are still not sufficiently explored. This research evaluates Machine Learning (ML) models–XGBoost, random forest, and multi-layer perceptron (MLP)—in detecting attacks …

Polycystic ovarian syndrome and its management in Unani System of Medicine- A Comprehensive Review
Abstract: Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent endocrine disorder that significantly impacts women’s reproductive and metabolic health. It often leads to anovulation and infertility, creating distress for those affected. Additionally, PCOS increases the risk of developing diabetes and other long-term health complications. Recognizing and addressing PCOS is crucial, as early intervention can improve quality of life and prevent serious health issues. Common symptoms are polymenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, amenorrhea, hirsutism, acne, weight …

Effect of Dalak (Massage) in the Management of Sahar (Insomnia)
Abstract: Saher (Insomnia) or sleeplessness is a sleep disorder in which there is an inability to fall asleep or to stay asleep or both, as long as desire. According to current researches, it has been noted that many people all over the world are suffering from one or more symptoms of insomnia. Depending on duration of problem, it may be classified as transient insomnia, short term insomnia and chronic insomnia. Insomnia …

Unresolved and misdiagnosed of floating sensation in young man
Abstract: Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) stands out as a prevalent peripheral vestibular disorder, earning its recognition in the International Classification of Vestibular Disorders in 2017. Characterized by chronicity, this condition manifests symptoms persisting for more than three months, encompassing a disconcerting array such as a floating sensation, unsteadiness, and dizziness. Notably, individuals afflicted with PPPD often report symptom exacerbation following prolonged standing, self-initiated motion, or exposure to dynamic visual stimuli. This …

Homeopathy and Miasms: Exploring Their Vital Importance
Abstract: An individual’s susceptibility to disease is not solely an internal matter but is also profoundly shaped by a variety of external influences. These influences can be broadly categorized into meteoric factors – such as climate, weather changes, seasonal variations, and atmospheric conditions – and telluric factors, which include environmental and terrestrial elements like soil, water, living conditions, and geographical surroundings. When such external influences act upon the human organism, they …

Review on the Efficacy of Ayurvedic Formulations in Diabetes Management
Abstract: Diabetes mellitus is one of the most prevalent metabolic disorders globally, characterized by persistent hyperglycemia resulting from defects in insulin secretion, insulin action, or both. It leads to serious complications affecting the cardiovascular, renal, and nervous systems, imposing a significant health and economic burden. In Ayurveda, diabetes is described as Madhumeha, a subtype of Prameha, primarily caused by the vitiation of Kapha dosha, Meda dhatu (fat metabolism), and Agnimandya (impaired …

Understanding Sentiment Trends Through Zero-Shot and Few-Shot Learning Models
Abstract: The requirement for large, manually labeled datasets is one of the main barriers to applying sentiment analysis algorithms in specialized or rapidly evolving disciplines in the present natural language processing (NLP) landscape. This work investigates a paradigm shift from traditional fully supervised learning to data-efficient methods, specifically zero-shot learning (ZSL) and few-shot learning (FSL). This study uses the advanced capabilities of instruction-tuned large language models (LLMs), like GPT-4, to assess …

Studies on Dynamics of Post-Kharif Rice Fallows Using Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Techniques in India
Abstract: India has largely become self-sufficient in food grain production at macro level. However, the mismatch between the demand and supply, imbalance in food grain components, declining growth rate of food grain yields especially in cereals, pulses, oilseeds, rice, and wheat in the last decade add to the woes of malnutrition and food security problems. The rice, wheat and pulse crops constitute the main components of food security mission. Optimal utilization …
