Review on Corrosion of Welded Joints
Abstract: Corrosion is one of the major problems generally faced by welded joints made from various welding processes. Welding resistance of welded joints can be improved with addition of anticorrosive elements in the base metal. However certain other factors like fabrication technique, welding practice, welding sequence, moisture contamination, organic or inorganic chemical species oxide film and scale, weld slag and spatter, incomplete weld penetration or fusion also contribute for corrosion of …

An Overview of Implication of TRIDOSHA Siddhant in Prasuti Tantra: A Conceptual Study
Abstract: Ayurved is a science based on various principles, i.e. siddhant. All aspects of Ayurved are based on these principles. Tridosha and panchabhautic siddhant are the foremost principles that govern Ayurved. These two principles find themselves connected to prasuti tantra which includes garbhavigyaan (embryology), garbhinivigyaan (antenatal care), and garbhinivyapad (pregnancy disorders). Implementation of these principles can contribute to healthy conception, pregnancy and progeny: thereby contributing to healthy society.

Performance Improvement of DFIG using Fractional Order PI Controller
Abstract: Abstract: In this paper integer order and fractional order PI controller is designed to enhance the performance of the DFIG used in wind power plants. In DFIG, pitch angle control at high wind speed certainly experiences some issues in terms of performance. In this regard, the pitch angle is controlled by increasing the wind speed above the middle speed (12 m/s) to limit the DFIG active power and rotor speed. …

Analysis of new Floating Offshore Wind Turbine under drag force operation
Abstract: The goal of this paper is the study and analysis of a new type of floating offshore wind turbine (FOWT), which operates under drag force instead of lifting force as the conventional FOWT. We simulate the wind turbine operation modifying the pitch angle to faithfully reproduce the behavior when submitted to waves’ movement. The analysis of the wind turbine performance is developed in a model at laboratory scale to control …

A Single Case Study on Ayurvedic Therapeutic Management for Increasing Growth Hormone in Pre-Pubertal Girl
Abstract: Human growth hormone, commonly referred to as HGH and somatotropin, is a naturally occurring hormone released by the pituitary gland that promotes growth in children by acting on various body regions. The pituitary gland produces the polypeptide hormone known as human growth hormone (hGH), or somatotropin, which is made up of 191 amino acids. A lack of human growth hormone (hGH) in children can result in growth failure, low stature …

Managed Pressure Drilling for Improved Well Control: A Cross-Case Comparative Study (2015–2025)
Abstract: Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) has matured over the past decade from a specialist technique applied to challenging wells into a mainstream drilling capability spanning ultra-HPHT exploration, deepwater development, unconventional tight-gas multi-well campaigns, and naturally fractured sour-gas reservoirs. Despite this maturation, the operational question of which MPD variant should be applied to a given well has been addressed in the literature case-by-case rather than through structured comparative synthesis. This paper presents …
