ED-SS based Cognitive Radio (CR) over Rayleigh Fading Channel and the Performance of Optimized Cooperative Spectrum Sensing Technique for Modern Wireless Communications
Abstract: Cognitive Radio (CR) has indeed been shown to be a superior way to address the issue of spectrum scarcity in which every wireless system occupies the limited bandwidth spectrum (LBS) allotting to the licensed users. Spectrum holes, which are approximated using spectrum sensing, occur when this LBS is empty in a certain location at a specific moment (SS). The SS is the main objective of CR and various SS techniques …

Exploiting Phase of Speech Signal for Speaker Recognition
Abstract: Abstract—Performance of speaker recognition system with feature based on temporal phase is presented in this paper. In the state of the art spectral feature, Mel Frequency Cepstal Coefficient (MFCC) only magnitude of the Fourier Transform of speech signal is considered while phase is ignored. The cepstral coefficients extracted from temporal phase (MFTPC) of speech signal are used as features for speaker recognition system. The performance of MFTPC feature is evaluated …

Evidence for Forward Spin and Reverse Spin Radio Photons
Abstract: We generated alternate spin radio frequency photons by accelerating metallic valence electrons in a wire with half portions of a sine wave. To avoid standing waves from sinusoidal movement, a non-resonating transmitter was built with a non-resonating antenna. An oscilloscope at a second non-resonant receiving antenna 3 wavelengths away from the transmitter detected positive going 180-degree voltage pulses. Reversing the direction of electron excitation in the transmitter antenna caused negative …
