Infrared Radiation: A Non-Invasive Approach to Cholesterol Measurement
Abstract: Cholesterol levels and Diabetes have become prevalent worldwide. People who are physically disabled or unresponsive need to have their glucose and cholesterol levels constantly checked because it is hard to get accurate readings through invasive procedures or blood samples. Based on the proposed model, Hyperglycemia and Cholesterol amounts might be found without touching or taking blood specimens. The Arduino UNO and basic infrared sensors are used to make this happen. …

Risk Assessment of Nitration Process Using HAZOP and Fault Tree
Abstract: The present study addresses the safety issues associated with the nitration reactions. Since the nitration reaction is highly exothermic in nature exhibiting intense heat during the operation and may explode if wrongly handled, the risk assessment of nitration reaction is absolutely necessary. In the present work, the production of Ortho Nitro Chloro Benzene (ONCB) and Para Nitro Chloro Benzene (PNCB) is considered to perform the risk assessment of the nitration …

The Analysis of Deep Learning-Based Methods for Identifying Diabetic Retinopathy
Abstract: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a degenerative eye condition resulting from diabetes mellitus, where high blood glucose levels lead to lesions on the retina. This condition is considered the leading cause of blindness among working-age diabetic patients, particularly in developing countries. As the disease is irreversible, the treatment aims to preserve the patient’s current vision. Early detection is crucial for effective management of DR to maintain vision. One of the main …

Factors Affecting Farmers Participation in Soil and Water Conservation Practices at Qenshiben Watershed Central Ethiopia
Abstract: Soil erosion is among the foremost causes of declining soil resources in Ethiopia, which in turn affect agricultural productivity. To limit this problem, for the last two decades’ soil and water conservation measures have been practiced via free labor community mass-mobilization program. Following the launch of the program, farmers massively and voluntarily implemented soil and water conservation measures on the farm lands at different parts of the country. Participation of …

The drying characteristics of bitter and sour sop leaves are affected by temperature
Abstract: One of the earliest techniques for food preservation is the drying method. Drying is important because it reduce the moisture content of the food hence reducing the breeding ground for microorganism that causes food spoilage. Due to this marked effect, the study was aimed at investigating the effect of temperature on the drying characteristic of bitter leave (Vernonia Amygdalina) and Soursop (Annona Muricata). The methodologies employed in this researches are …
