Abstract: This paper presents the literature survey of slow pyrolysis; an economical thermochemical process to produce bio-oil. In slow pyrolysis, the low temperature (up to 500°C), low heating rate and longer vapor residence time (up to 30 min) which produced 25 to 45% bio-oil, bio-char 35 to 50% and pyro-gas 30 to 50%. Pyrolysis yield such as bio-oil, bio-char and pyro-gas depends on temperature, heating rate, sweeping gas effect, initial moisture …

Comparison of Existing Experimental Results with Different Types of Simulation Software for Transmission Loss Estimation of Muffler
Abstract: Acoustic Muffler’s characteristics are calculated by Transmission Loss and Insertion Loss. Single expansion chamber is generally used as noise reduction elements in exhaust systems. To quantify its effectiveness, transmission loss is commonly used as a parameter comparing the transmitted with incident sound pressure level. Mufflers are typically arranged along the exhaust pipe as the part of the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine to reduce its noise. Tao and …

Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) and Its Different Testing Methods: A Review
Abstract: Staphylococcus aureus, a gram-positive bacterium is a serious current health care concern. In the mid-1980s, S. aureus strains emerged that were resistant to the beta-lactamase-stable penicillin, these strains were termed methicillin resistant S. aureus (MRSA). Methicillin resistance in S. aureus is primarily mediated by the mecA gene, which codes for the modified penicillin-binding protein 2a. MRSA strain has become one of the well-known etiologic agents for a wide variety of …
