An Analytical Study of the Effectiveness of the Child Development Scheme in Anganwadi Centers of Rudraprayag District
Abstract: From the perspective of human development, childhood is regarded as a highly sensitive and multidimensional phase that plays a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of human life. During childhood, children undergo rapid growth across their mental, social, psychological, and physical domains. Currently, the mental, physical, and social well-being—as well as the overall health—of children remains a grave challenge for the entire world. An increase in nutritional and health-related problems …

Hybrid Quantum–Machine Learning Framework for Nonlinear Rheological Modeling of Polymer and Composite Materials
Abstract: In polymer and composite materials, a major challenge lies in predicting their nonlinear rheological response, owing to complex multiscale interactions that are not captured by traditional constitutive laws or conventional machine learning approaches. In this study, a hybrid Quantum Machine Learning (QML) model comprising Quantum Support Vector Machine (QSVM) and Quantum Neural Network (QNN) architectures is proposed for viscosity prediction without requiring any specific rheological equation. To train and test …

Marine Algal Fiber Reinforced Bio-Composites with Embedded Humidity Sensors for Coastal Smart Infrastructure
Abstract: The development of sustainable structural materials with integrated sensing capabilities has emerged as an effective strategy for improving the durability and resilience of coastal infrastructure exposed to aggressive marine environments. In this study, a multifunctional marine algal fiber reinforced bio-composite incorporating an embedded flexible humidity sensor was developed for real-time structural health monitoring applications. Marine macroalgae (Ulva lactuca) fibers were chemically functionalized using 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) to enhance fiber–matrix interfacial adhesion …

A Critical Review of the Limitations of the Arithmetic Mean and the Robustness of the Median in Statistical Analysis
Abstract: Arithmetic mean is an extremely popular measure of central tendency used in statistical analyses, primarily because it is so easy to calculate and has many positive mathematical characteristics. However, when there are outliers, skewed distributions or heterogeneous spread of data, the reliability of the arithmetic mean diminishes greatly. This paper includes a critical review of the limitations of the arithmetic mean and an assessment of the robustness of the median …

Emerging Trends in Photobiology: Exploring the Photophysics and Photobiology of the Eye
Abstract: The eye consists of three main segments: the cornea, lens, and retina. The primary function of the anterior ocular tissue, the cornea and lens, is to transmit and focus light onto the retina without distortion. They also filter UV light (under 400 nm), preventing it from reaching the retina. While light reaching the retina is mostly used for vision, it can also have various effects on the eye's constituents, both …

Toxicological Profiling and Safety Assessment of NASAT 2.0: A Conceptual Framework for Adaptive Nanoparticle Therapy in Rabies
Abstract: Rabies, caused by the highly neurotropic Rabies lyssavirus, remains one of the most enigmatic and universally lethal infectious diseases known to modern medicine. Once clinical symptoms manifest following successful neuroinvasion, the fatality rate approaches absolute certainty (approximately 99.9%), a staggering statistic that has remained largely unchallenged despite massive, concurrent advances in modern virology, critical care medicine, and cellular immunology. Current late-stage therapeutic protocols, most notably the widely debated Milwaukee Protocol, …

In-Situ Polymerized GO/PANI Composites: Structural Evolution, Optical Modulation, and NH₃ Sensing at Room Temperature
Abstract: Graphene oxide (GO)/polyaniline (PANI) composites with varying PANI contents (20, 40, and 60 wt%) were synthesized via in-situ oxidative polymerization and systematically investigated for their structural, morphological, optical, and gas-sensing properties. X-ray diffraction (XRD) confirmed a progressive increase in interlayer spacing and partial exfoliation of GO layers with increasing PANI content, indicating intercalation-assisted hybridization. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy revealed the characteristic vibrational bands of both constituents and confirmed strong …
