Fabrication, Interfacial Characterization, and Superparamagnetic Properties of Fe₃O₄@γ-Fe₂O₃ Core/Shell Nanoparticle-Reinforced Chitosan Biopolymer Composites
Abstract: Magnetite/maghemite core/shell nanoparticles were prepared by alkaline co-precipitation of Fe(II) and Fe(III) precursors followed by controlled thermal oxidation at 350 °C and subsequently incorporated into chitosan at 1, 3, and 5 wt% loadings by solution casting. The resulting films were evaluated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM), vibrating-sample magnetometry (VSM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and tensile testing. XRD showed the characteristic cubic spinel reflections …

Thermal Performance Enhancement Strategies for a Compact Solar PV-Powered Concentrating Water Heating System Through Integrated Collector Design
Abstract: Solar water heating systems have emerged as one of the most promising renewable energy technologies for reducing dependence on conventional fossil fuels and electricity-based water heating. However, the thermal performance of compact solar water heaters is often limited by inadequate solar absorption, poor heat transfer, and thermal losses within the collector assembly. This study presents a theoretical investigation of thermal performance enhancement strategies incorporated into a compact solar photovoltaic (PV)-powered …

The UGC-CARE Initiative and Its Impact on Indian Research Productivity: A Bibliometric Analysis of Web of Science Publications
Abstract: This bibliometric study evaluates the impact of the UGC CARE initiative on Indian research output in Web of Science (WoS) indexed journals, comparing the pre UGC CARE (2000-2018) and post UGCCARE (2019-2024) periods. The analysis reveals a threefold increase in annual publications, from 42,406 to 139,355, alongside shifts in institutional contributions, subject trends, and journal preferences. Engineering overtook Chemistry as the dominant field, and open access adoption rose to 36.60%. …

The Influence of Artificial Intelligence on Literary Criticism
Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a significant force in reshaping contemporary literary criticism. Traditionally, the interpretation of literature has relied primarily on human-centered methods such as close reading, contextual analysis, and theoretical framing. However, the integration of AI-based techniques including Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), stylometry, and sentiment analysis has introduced new possibilities for examining literary texts at both micro and macro levels. These computational approaches allow …

A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of an Information Education Communication Module Regarding Health Hazards of Junk Food Among Late Adolescent at Selected Villages
Abstract: Junk food refers to ready-to-eat foods that are prepared and served quickly, including a wide range of fast-food products. In recent years, the popularity and consumption of junk food have risen markedly in India, particularly among adolescents and young adults, who constitute the largest consumer group. This growing preference has made junk food a regular component of the dietary patterns of many adolescents in developing nations. Frequent consumption of these …

Simulation-Based Training in Nursing Education: An Academic Perspective
Abstract: Simulation-based education has become an important component of contemporary nursing education, providing students with opportunities to develop clinical competence, critical thinking, decision-making, and patient safety skills in a controlled learning environment. By recreating realistic clinical situations, simulation allows nursing students to apply theoretical knowledge, practice clinical procedures, and respond to patient care challenges without exposing actual patients to unnecessary risks. Different simulation approaches, including high- and low-fidelity manikins, standardized patients, …
