Heteroscedasticity in Survey Data and Model Selection based on Weighted Schwarz-Bayesian Information Criterion
Abstract: AbstractThis paper proposed Weighted Schwarz Bayesian Information criterion for the purpose of selecting a best model from various competing models, when heteroscedasticity is present in the survey data. The authors found that the information loss between the true model and fitted models are equally weighted, instead of giving unequal weights. The computation of weights purely depends on the differential entropy of each sample observation and traditional Schwarz Bayesian information criterion …

A New Approach of Synthesis Fe-Substituted Bi-2223 Superconductors
Abstract: Generally, the Bismuth based high temperature superconductors are utilizing in three phases as Bi-2201, Bi-2212 and Bi-2223. These have different transition temperature according to superconducting phase. Here, we studied about Bi-2223 phase by using complex Bi2Sr2Can-1 (Cu1-xFex)3O10+δ where n = 3. In this complex, we has been doped iron in Coper (Cu) site (x = 0.07%). This sample was prepared by solid state reaction method. The planetary Ball mill was …

Cerium Admixture Effect on the Surface Magnetic Properties of Ceramics Based on Yttrium Oxide
Abstract: The influence of 10 mol.% cerium oxide dopant on phase transformations, morphology, and surface magnetic properties (magnetic structure) of polycrystalline ceramics obtained in the CeO2–Y2O3 system, depending on the conditions of its heat treatment, was studied. Using the X-ray phase analysis method, it was established that heat treatment at 120°C does not lead to the interaction of the initial components, and when the oxide mixture is fired at a temperature …

Estimation of Absorption Performance of Underwater Anechoic Coating by Multilayer Arrangement of Cylindrical Cavity
Abstract: Rubber coatings with inner cavities are often used as underwater anechoic coatings. What is important in improving the underwater absorption performance is to improve the low frequency absorption performance, while satisfying the broadband absorption performance. Generally the homogenous medium can hardly satisfy the broadband absorption performance. In this paper sound absorption coatings with new arrangement of cavities to satisfy both broadband absorption performance and better low frequency absorption performance is …

Interaction of Cardiotoxin with Calmodulin and its EF Hand Peptides
Abstract: Calmodulin is a ubiquitous protein having EF hand peptide(helix-loop-helix sstructural domain), which is found in all the eukaryotic cells. Calmodulin functions as a multipurpose intracellular receptor, mediating much calcium regulated processes and undergoes conformational change upon binding to calcium. These activated calmodul in then bind to a number of different target proteins, including a family of calcium/calmodul in-dependent protein kinases which then phosphorylatedserine’s or threnodies on other proteins. Cardiotoxin, snake …
