Synthesis of Thermal Resistant and Transparent Al2O3 Reinforced Epoxy-Based Composite Coatings
Abstract: This study explores the influence of thermal treatment on the structural, optical, and surface wettability characteristics of epoxy-based composite coatings reinforced with 3 wt.% aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) nanoparticles. The coatings were synthesized via a dip-coating method on carbon fiber substrates and subjected to controlled thermal treatments at 300 °C, 400 °C, and 500 °C to assess their thermal resilience. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the structural integrity of the composite …

Preparation of Transparent and Thermal Resistant Zirconia Reinforced Epoxy Based Polymer Matrix Composite Coatings
Abstract: This study investigates the thermal stability, structural characteristics, optical transparency, and surface wettability of epoxy-based composite coatings reinforced with 2 wt.% zirconia (ZrO₂) nanoparticles. The composite coatings were synthesized using a dip-coating technique on carbon fiber substrates and subsequently subjected to thermal treatments at 300 °C, 400 °C, and 500 °C. Structural analysis using X-ray diffraction (XRD) confirmed the amorphous nature of the epoxy matrix with no significant crystallization or …

Multiple Sclerosis: A Brief Overview of the Disease, Its Pharmacotherapy
Abstract: Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disorder mostly affecting individuals aged between 20-40. In this disorder, the optic, vertebral, and central nervous system nerves are primarily impacted. It is a neurological condition that worsens over time and is characterized by inflammation and the breakdown of the sheath that surrounds and shields the nerve fiber. Common symptoms may include muscle weakness, numbness, tingling, fatigue, vertigo, tremor, vision complications, pain, Lhermitte sign, sexual …

An Overview on Quantum dot technology in Temperature sensor design
Abstract: Quantumdot (QD) thermometry harnesses the sizedependent electronic structure of semiconductor nanocrystals to translate minute temperature variations into robust optical signals. In this work we present a systematic design framework for QDbased temperature sensors that integrates (i) bandgap engineering through precise colloidal synthesis, (ii) surfacestate passivation to suppress nonradiative pathways, and (iii) a planar photonicreadout architecture compatible with lowcost, CMOSfriendly fabrication. By exploiting the linear redshift of the photoluminescence (PL) peak …

Deep Learning for Real-Time Monitoring and Defect Detection in Additive Manufactured Polymer Composites
Abstract: Additives Fiber-reinforced polymer composite ADDs have high utility in making lightweight structural components, but due to process-related defects (interlayer delamination and reinforcement stacking) the integrity of consolidation during extrusion-based deposition is frequently compromised. This paper has presented a physics-informed deep learning framework that is applicable to real-time measurements of reinforced thermoplastic composite fabrication. Multimodal sensing was provided with thermal gradient, optical morphology, and acoustics emission signals being used to assess …

Experimental Evaluation of MDM@Gd2O3:Eu3+ and Protein@MDM@Gd2O3:Eu3+ Functional Nanomaterial
Abstract: Lanthanide cation like Eu3+ (europium Xe 4f66s0) doped functional nanomaterials of lanthanide oxides especially of gadolinium oxide (Gd2O3) as nanorods capped with monodispersed macromolecule (MDM) like polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) coated with natural biopolymers like proteins as human serum albumin (HSA) have been the most demanding and applied nanomaterials in areas of the biosensor, optical distinguisher, electronic fluoresces, upconversion, and surface plasmonic resonance (SPR) nanomaterials and others. The Gd3+ and Eu3+lanthanide cations …
